Awesome concept!!! I like evil!

Really cool game! I loved how cartoonishly evil it was.

Presentation was excellent and gameplay was engaging. I liked your take on the theme as well. Really well done, excellent overall!

Developer

Thanks so much! Was a lot of fun to make it so over the top :)

Proc: really cool idea | good art and music
Cons: the only thing is I would like the game to have the final score istead of a bunch of different numbers

Developer( 1)

Cheers for playing! Not having a final score was a deliberate decision for me, as I wanted to leave it to the player to decide what they considered important and what they would consider a success, but can totally see that it's not an approach that's going to work for everyone.

Thank you for the feedback :)

The graphics and music were really nice. The screams made me think about what I am actually doing here ^^'
Nice game!

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Awesome Game! I enjoyed the dark humor (those screams lol). Even though the game is simple, the tutorial is a good addition. The UI feels good to interact with and the visuals are really polished! The music is very well done and fits the theme. I really can't think of anything to improve.

Developer

Thank you :) really happy that the humour came across!

This game is so evil! I love it haha!

Super creative use of limitation and awesome visuals, and the music is fantastic (no, really, the music is extremely good). The SFX also really adds to the game, with the screams and all. Though I see the point people made about the tutorials, I confess that it clicked (ha) for me right away.

I think the game does all it proposes in a very polished and concise way. One of my favorite entries so far. Oh, and it's nice to see you here again, I remember you from Lord of the Deep!

Developer

Good to see you again too! Loved Uncadaveric :)

Thanks so much for playing, and absolutely delighted by your comments on the music - was really pleased with how it came together so very happy it's appreciated!

Amazing. Lets start off with tha idea: The mechanic is fun and can surely be expanded. Additionally it fits the theme well. I also like the idea of weighting between people and money. On the other side the grafics and the sounddesign is amazing aswell, bonus points for making a tutorial. The only thing I would optimize is to introduce the different mechanics after each other while playing (probably also in different levels) and to longer the experience a bit, cause it was often very short.

Well, well done, especially for a jam entry.

Keep it up!

Thanks so much! Really glad you enjoyed

Definitely agree that the game would have benefitted from introducing the mechanics individually - it's something I'll keep in mind to make future projects more approachable :)

Really good game, especially the art and music, it has a lot of neat mechanics which have difficult to grasp on my first try, but better on the subsequent rounds, very interesting concept, in terms of improvement I think introducing the mechanics in game one by one would make it easier to understand and play better.

Regardless a very well done job, best of luck.

Developer

Great idea on the introducing the mechanics one at a time - definitely would have been the right way to go!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback :)

Wow, this truly an awesome game, the  weird story the ambiance, the "More profit no downside", I laughed a lot and had really a great time. Although, I didn't understand very well  all the mechanics, but this was really a great experience

Developer

Thanks! Glad I was able to make you laugh :)

I definitely could have done a better job getting the mechanics across - it's a point a few people have brought up now. I'll see what I can do to improve tutorials and the onboarding experience in general for future jams :)

Cheers for playing and for the feedback!

This was super cool, very interesting concept. I really like the CRT effect and your UI vibe. Very creative.

Developer

Thanks! I'd been wanting to practice making an appealing UI so really glad you liked it

The CRT shader is by Peter Höglund, and is freely available from Godot Shaders here if you ever want to use it in your own projects :)
