The protagonist of our game is the Magical Girl Punkat, with the magical power to protect herself with a corona of light while she bashes into her enemies.
Which theme(s) do you pick?
6. "This entire city must be purged."
How does your game fit those theme(s)?
Our game is a fairly literal interpretation, where the player is doing their best to purge the city of all of Lady Orca's mooks!
Were the assets for your game made during the jam? Elaborate as you see fit.
All the art for the game was created by our team for the express purpose of the Magical Girl Game Jam during the jamming period, with the exception of the title card which was created using a word art site.

I like the idea but it is a bit hard to control, but after playing for awhile I managed to make it work. Also I like the art in there, looks good and everything fits just fine.
So rad
The controls are finicky once you start hitting top speeds but if that got fixed I'd say the game would be very fun. Some banger music would also make this great. Had fun nonetheless!
gameplay is just not there yet
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to play our game! Could you elaborate a little about what you thought could be improved on?
Just found it really hard to play... turning is too slow ... speed is not visible enough...
The art and the plot hook are good! and fish puns are always appreciated~ fun stuff
The idea has potential, but it seems like it's not working properly. If you accelerate even just a little bit, your character goes offscreen. Also, it's pretty quiet...
Hi! Thanks so much for trying out our game! Can you tell me a little more about the problem you ran into with the screen? We didn't have the bug at all on two different devices, is it possible you have some internal settings that are throwing things out of wack? As far as the sound goes, we didn't have a sound designer and I didn't have the attention spare on butchering the sound myself, but I'm more than open if you have anyone you'd recommend for the job, nudge nudge wink wink. I really appreciate the feedback, and good luck with the rest of the jam!
