Tricky, but I wanted to keep playing until I could win. Lovely graphics and audio and you made it all work in 64x64, great submission!
Very fun but I kind of hard
I'm not fully understand what's going on and where the goals, but it's very cute. :D I like sounds and little creatures.
Pretty nice! But quite tight for 64x64 :D
I’m gonna be honest, I could be just totally blind, but I missed how I get seeds in the game. I did beat it, they were spawning from time to time, I was just stupid.
The atmoshpere and the graphics were neat, but I do think this game could really use a bigger screen! Other than that, no complains here, nice little game.
This is not my kind of game and I have problems understanding what is happening and what I have to do despite the great tutorial. Despite everything I can recognize the work behind this title and the originality of the concept
Really cool game design, fun idea! As I said in the comment on the page-it took me a second to learn to love the deer, but once I did I enjoyed this a lot.
This is lovely! I love the look and sound of the animals, they're so readable with so few pixels. Great music too!
Super cute gardening game! A bit confusing at first, but I quickly got a hang on it. :)
Music and sound effects used give this game a very cozy atmosphere. Well done!
Impressive work!
You got a strategy game in 64x64 píxels!
I love so much chaos in so little space :).
Congrats!
Thanks for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed the game :)
Fun! Super creative as well, at first glance I was expecting a super peaceful experience, turned out to be quite the opposite! But fun nonetheless, great gameplay, and amazing ambience! The music really delivers the mood quite well!
Thanks for playing! We also expected the game to be a bit more peaceful at first but found the game becoming more frantic as time went on. I'll be sure to let our composer know that you enjoyed the music. Thanks for the kind words!
Great idea, fantastic sound design. It's a very very good game overall!
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed the game :)
I was really entranced by the overall atmosphere and vibe of the game. The music at night added a spooky but still whimsical change in tone. Watching the animals interact with everything was a really neat touch and I enjoyed the interplay between the resource management and tower defense mechanics.
The in game tutorial did a pretty good job of covering everything but having it written out on the game page would also be helpful because I found myself wanting to reference again the uses of each seed and/or the goals. Overall great idea and interesting concept too!
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed the music and atmosphere, those were some of my favorite aspects of the game as well. We definitely could have used some more instruction for the player throughout the game. If we decide to work on the project further we would need to expand the resolution so there is more room to explain things. Thanks for your comment!
Nice, I loved it! I was so close to winning, I got 3 of the bushes (east, north, and west) but then my animals all left, likely cause I got too deep into the negative energy(?) in the top right. I think my leopards got stuck on the red flowers. I’d see them basically jittering on the red flowers and not doing anything else. The squirrels seemed like the MVPs for me.
I also got to a point where it felt like my animals weren’t pooping anymore so I wasn’t getting any more seeds, but it’s very likely I messed up something with my planting, perhaps misplacing my sunflowers. Really cool balance of tower defense and resource management, I think I could have won if I just had my sunflowers better-placed.
I thought this was super cool, great work! I really loved the music too. The nighttime ‘ghostly theme’ was perfect.
I'm glad you enjoyed playing the game and I appreciate your feedback!! The sunflowers do grant you the energy in the top right while the other plants (including bushes) consume the energy over time. Balancing the game was definitely one of the biggest challenges!
