Themes
The theme I used was "All Systems Have Broken", which helped steer me into an actual idea, when I originally just wanted to experiment with a 3d effect in pico8.

Tools
Pico8 and a map editor I made using it.

Lessons
Get testers earlier, they helped find bugs I missed and improve the feel of the game.

Very cool game!

One thing that bothered me a bit was that whenever I choose the tool, the character takes the directional input as well. I mean, let’s say I am facing up, open the tool switcher, choose the right side tool, use it… oh snap, I use it towards right now. have to press up to get back to prev orientation :)

This is really cool and a unique concept with lots of interactivity.  I like how it's just one guy tasked with docking and repairing all of these abandoned ships overrun by lil' monsters.  The gameplay is simple and engaging once you figure out what each of your tools do.  I love the 3D effect with the environments and the overall art style works really well.

Great job and a perfect game for such a low resolution!

Oh and the game page looks great, real clever that you fit the screen into the overall aesthetic of the game.

Another amazingly executed Werxzy banger we have here. Beautiful usage of the theme, really nice concept and idea wonderfully executed.

The creepy, solitary vibes are amazing with the OST and just the general “I need to go now” feel.

Graphics with it’s own rendering technique are spectacular and the gameplay loop is really tight. Well done.

Original concept, and great graphics.

Nice game, though ship repair deadlines feel a bit too tight. 3D rendering is exceptionally well executed for a 64x64 game, great job! :)

Very solid gameplay loop, your page looks absolutely fantastic, and the overall look and feel is amazing. It presented a good bit of challenge and hit that spaceship vibe perfectly. Impressive work!

As usual with you, we have a game with an original and beautiful aesthetic, especially for PICO 8... and a game with an immersive gameplay that makes you want to continue playing... bravo, you are the king

Very cool 3D effect. I had no idea that pico8 was capable of something like this. The game loop was fun, although I ended up wishing that opening the menu was a little bit faster.
