Very interesting take on the theme and pretty nice how you executed. I liked the control around the cards a lot.

Since the concept is pretty unique, I would have appreciated a bit more explanation how the whole game works and what's fun about it:)

Really creative idea for a game. It really needs more onboarding though, I had trouble figuring out what I was doing, and could never figure out how to properly play the cards that have a targeting 'line', they didn't seem to work on played cards nor on cards in my hand?  Definitely stays on the theme for the jam, and trying to keep the 'story' balanced by playing cards on both sides to get to a target score is a cool concept.

Interesting game idea, I was confused at first since I kept playing cards on the hero side expecting their to be an AI response on the villain side, but once I looked at your game description I understood I was actually to play both sides. I think this is a good idea that could use some more time to cook, for example maybe having a crowd that gathers as you play out the story or a narrator that describes the action in some way? I hope this helps, keep it up though! And great job!

I really like this game idea, feels pretty unique! It was a bit confusing at first, but maybe that's just me. Good job!

Really nice game. The mechanic of keeping the balance between the sides to generate a higher score is really cool. The gameplay didn't feel super rewarding, and when the game just continued after I beat "The End" without acknowledging the achievement in any way, it didn't really feel like an end or a victory. Also, had an issue with not being able to target with the wolf card, even though other targeting cards seemed to work.

All in all though, really cool concept, and I enjoyed playing it!

Thanks, we only realised after submitting and beating the game that we forgot to create an end game screen.

I love a fun card game. Nice work! It took me a little bit to understand what the mechanics were. But once I understood I had fun :)

Thanks for playing it!

Wow a really original game concept! I had fun stacking cards on and seeing my points go up! I got to villages that required 65 to win before I stopped. I'm not sure if there was a better strategy, but I realised throwing cards constantly at one side worked well enough for where I got to. I understand some cards can only be played targeting others (e.g. bear and lion), but the ant was a surprise for me.

Regardless, I spent quite a bit of time on this one! Solid entry!

I loved the idea, a very different approach to the theme!

I managed to reach the required score of around 90, but in fact I only really understood the mechanics on the second playthrough.

I found it very fun, congrats on the submission!

Took me a little bit to figure out what I was doing, but there's some good game balance here already and lots of strategies to try. Would definitely play a fleshed out version of this on mobile or something. Nice work :)
