Game Description
Speed centric movement game, centered on a dashing ability that resets whenever you kill something; in tandem with the timer it adds a speedrunning element. You get new abilities each level, get lore along the way, and a boss fight at the end

How does your game tie into the theme?
This game uses the base of Japanese Folklore to tell the tale of how the sun and the night learned to coexist. You play as a wolf chosen by Amaterasu, the Sun Goddess, to restore light to the world and become the night.

Challenging, and fun. Not super clear in the beginning of the game that dashing would kill enemies. I think a tutorial area that explained the mechanics a bit in the beginning would really help. Also the font was really difficult to read. Overall I enjoyed it

I really liked the gameplay of the game especially how the dash mechanic worked and the graphics were amazing!

I did have a bit of trouble with the difficulty of the game especially how it is tricky from the outset. Additionally the font for the initial story screen was very hard to read and It took me a while.

Loved the hand drawn assets and ui elements. I thought the game itself was a bit too difficult for me to get the hang of and I wasn't sure what the different colored tiles represented at first. For example I found myself avoiding the clear tiles for my first 5-10 attempts at level 1 until I realized I could move through them. I enjoyed the dash mechanic though, just hard to control with directional movement for me. Overall, incredible first submission.

Music was really awesome with pretty cool, clean fast-paced unique mechanic - nice job!

I like the mechanic but struggled with the controls and the font legibility.  Really impressive for a first game jame.

Nice, fun concept and really well executed! I liked all the character designs and animations! Kind of tricky to beat, I wish the scythes were thrown in the direction of my mouse click instead of straight forward based on the character model. As soon as the breakcore-esque music started I got flash backs to Neon White and I was like 'heck yeah let's do this' lmao

Very good idea, if you want to change some things after the jam I would suggest you to try to not loop the music and also free the projectiles when the player dies.

Overall, congrats and good luck!

Really great game, I love the art style. Requires some precision which I'm terrible at, but it frustrated me but in a good way! Awesome job :)
