Pretty fun idea. I'd suggest reducing the amount of "steps" that are possible. Like having only 3 different sizes, and 3 different time steps and so on. It felt a bit clunky but i think this could go somewhere with some iteration.
A janky game, but in a fun way. I wasn't sure how to progress in the time-level though, after I went left, above the spawn area.
