I love puzzle games like these! Interesting how you have to get hit to gain energy. The levels are also quite clever! Love how the robots face changes depending on how much HP they have left.

The only thing I found a bit tedious is how in some of the cannons seem to miss a lot.

I like this a lot. From the sound effects, to the concept - this is a great submission to the jam!

The replicating bit made it a lot of fun! which made it a lot of fun! which made it a lot of fun!

I wonder where you guys got the replicating idea from. The idea seemed to have potential for more! Add that with a bit of game feel/juice and game would be even more cool!

Glad you enjoyed!

Honestly I'm ashamed to say, but the replicating robots were loosely based off a robot in Rick and Morty S3E4 hahaha
And yeah for sure, I made the game to be scalable in case I ever want to continue :)

I loved this game! Definitely my favourite one so far!

Developer

Thanks so much! Means a lot <3

I liked the game quite a bit but there was this bug where even if i had enough resource to make another robot it wouldnt let me. Not sure why that happened but still a good game, wish there was some music though.

Developer

I think it could've been because there wasn't enough space behind ur robot, but I didn't make that very clear :/ And would've done music if I had more time :)

Rather good game! Interesting puzzle design (I caught myself having a few "aha!" moments), the controls are a tad slow and the game could use some music - but other than those minor things, very good!

Developer( 1)

Thank you! Those "aha!" moments were what I'd hoped for <3

Cool idea! Levels are interesting and clean.
My only complains are that it's a bit slow-paced and that the bullets are rather hard to see (dark on dark background). Good job nonetheless!

Developer

Thank you! And ty for the feedback :)

Awesome game! The idea is great, the levels are really well made, I like the main menu, The only tip I could come up with (i tried my best lol) is to hide the button for building the little dude until you can actually use him. Yeah I really love the mechanics of the game and the level design :)

Developer( 1)

Thank you! :) Yeah that's a good idea! The lil dude was a last minute addition, I always figured I could introduce him better :)

Great game with a very creative concept and cute visuals. Was very fun just wish there was more levels :)

Developer

Thank you :) I might make more levels post-jam!

Very cute!  I had a very fun time getting through these puzzles.  The robots are so fun

Developer

Thanks a bunch! Much appreciated <3

Interesting concept, but the actual process of building another robot was pretty slow. I loved the idea of having multiple types of robots that could be built, though!

Thanks for the feedback :D

The robot stacking was genius

Thank you <3

Really nice puzzle game with a cute concept! I didn't understand that the green icons at the bottom of the screen were clickable at first but I figured it out. Also I saw that some people (including me) had a bit of trouble identifying the push buttons, I'd recommend using a cable to connect it to the platform to make it clearer.

Developer

Yeah that'd my bad! Should've made a few things clearer :) Ty for the feedback!

The idea could work and make a really fun game, but I'm not a big fan of the execution. The robots are slow and waiting  to be shot at just to generate a new one isn't really interesting. Great work still!

Thanks for the feedback :)

Very clever concept with a charming presentation! Minor things to note - I had some trouble identifying the elevator button at first, and I ran into a scenario where I couldn't tab to certain robots when there were more than 3 on screen. Regardless, it's a great core mechanic for an environmental puzzle solver with a lot of potential for fun, complex scenarios. Really enjoyed it :) Great job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! :) Yeah making the button red and tiny was my bad... And I think when robots die it can be unclear, I reckon that's what you experienced. Thanks again!

I feel like the game could work just as well without the getting-shot mechanic, it mostly just slows the game down I think. Other than that, cute visuals clever puzzle design

I like the concept of trying to get hit. Though I'm not a fan of being patient and waiting to get hit. Nice art though

Thanks for the feedback :)

I really like the concept, and  the visuals are stunning as stylized art fits the theme really well.

If you can find the time, would you please check out our game as well?!

Our twist of the theme is that a critic tries to play your unfinished game, and you fight from inside the computer to make him like it.

Thanks for the feedback :) And yeh checked out ur game np

Super polished entry, was very enjoyable to play. Lots of room for growth with the variety of robots that could be built.

Thank you! :D
