I liked it! It was very fun and tricky and satisfying

The mechanics are cool! Loved being able to strategize the sequence of moves in order to not fall down any pits.

Fun puzzles. Enjoyed my playthrough. I wish it doesn't autoplay as I try to solve. Also, swapping arrow positions instead of inserting feels unintuitive (like if the arrangement is ABCD and I drag D to the start, my intuition tells me I should have DABC, but it swaps with A and becomes DBCA instead).

A really nice short puzzler!

Thought that game was too simple... but didn't last long after a few direction tiles. At first i thought 'help him not fall' was a bit too loose of an idea, but i guess it was enough for this game. Great game!

Fun minimalistic puzzle game. Unfortunately there're no sound and music. It's a good starting point for a cool game!

Thank you! I did indeed not have time to program audio playback, but perhaps that’s good given my SFX skills… :)

Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to look at the vod again in the future here it is timestamped to your game

Thank you for playing!

fun puzzle game, would be nice to separate the hover functionality from the dragging functionality to avoid triggering it every time

Few people have said this, and I agree. Thanks for the feedback and playing!

Cool small puzzle game!

My pretty big complaint is how player starts moving automatically. It feels pretty distracting. Adding a run button (as someone else said) would definitely help here...

But otherwise it was a nice game. Levels provide a little bit of challenge, but are still fun!

Thanks for playing and feedback! I agree, it wasn’t as intuitive as I hoped

At first I didn't realize that the blocks switch position and not you put one inbetween but after that it works very well and has some cool puzzles!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Heh, the reason for swapping instead of insert is that my animation system is a bit poopy and inserting without a shifting animation would be even more confusing. I know what to work on now, though!

Submitted

Well we only had 48h so making sure that the game works is more important than animations....
Be sure to check out my game too! It's rly only a prototype so it will be quick ;)

Felt a little clunky at first, but once I figured out the flow of the levels, it turned into a really neat puzzle game! I've seen a lot of games where you use some form of blocks to control the player's movement, but never really in a situation where you make sure the player survives, and I think that's pretty neat ^^

Awesome work!

Great concept, sometimes the dragging was a bit fiddly. I would definitely work on this some more!

At first I didn't understand the holes were holes, I thought they were the goal because there was only one of them in early levels.

Once I realized that though, I had a lot of fun with the puzzles, well done!

Cool puzzle game!

I got it pretty quick and it made me think!

Enjoyable little thinky puzzle game.

Took me a little to understand the partial plays. I would suggest a play button in future versions. The art style and movement are crisp and satisfying and the puzzles have a great difficulty curve. Good work and its really cool that you did your own engine!

Nice idea! My only gripe with it is that making the character run the sequence wasn't very clear for me at first but then I got the hang of it. Cool presentation! Thanks for making the game!
