106 deaths, 6 coins. Nicely done, the only issue I have is the main block texture. I know the eye looks in the direction of movement but its not very clear, I would at least move this eye far to the edge.

Maybe one suggestion. Game is really hard, right now the challenge is in figuring out how to maneuver in tricky levels. Maybe it would be better to have timed play on easier levels? Or, to have the red borders slowly shrink to the center of map, so that player has to do all levels in a finite time.

Developer

I made the mistake of not making the character a prefab... At the end I realized that the eye's direction isn't very clear, but I didn't want to move it 14 times.

Great ideas, I'll play around with different level types in a post-jam version.

looks and feels nice ! great game. a little hard to control. I love how you can slightly see where the character is pointing with his eye but you mostly just use his movement to understand his trajectory

Developer

Thank you! Yeah I may have taken the theme a bit too seriously...

Nice game ! I made it to the black holes :D
Thanks for the game !

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I wasn't able to get past level 2 as just pushing a button would lead to my character moving at a far too uncontrollable rate.  I think this could be neat if either the walls would bounce you or the player would be slowed down a bit.

At first I spent a lot of my time on creating the levels rather then smoothing out the player movement. Then when I got some other people to playtest the game, they said the same thing as you, but I didnt want to experiment with new numbers so I decided to leave it there. I'm gonna be making a post-jam version where the border will teleport you to the opposite side of the screen, plus some more polishing and focusing more on the player movement.

the game looks nice but i didnt understood what to do

Developer

You need to get to the green box with the blue guy. The way his eye faces is the way the entire character is facing.

Really fun game! Really like the smoothness of everything.

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad that the polishing was worth it!

Very cool! The square character was really cute and the space theme was excellent. Well done! :)

It was very challenging, but I liked it! Nice concept

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'm really glad you liked it!

Decent idea, but being killed when you touch the border makes the complete lack of control/crazyness of movement really frustrating. Looping to the bottom when going out the top would allow more enjoyment of Chaos.

Developer

Great idea. I think I'm going to add that for a post-jam version.

i dont know if it just me, but after the game start the player doesn not show up and nothing happens.

Everything worked fine for me

I'm sorry, I didn't really have the motivation to make an option for different screen resolutions...
