Haha, what a blast! It gets really hard, but I can't stop playing it. Nice little click "runner" and a great pure take on the theme. Well done!

And if you haven't had a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would appreciate any feedback, thanks!

Submitted

Cool game. My score is at #9 haha

Submitted

Game felt laggy at times, but I like the game design.

Submitted

nice game, in my opinion it has the only defect that after a while it gets repetitive, I would perhaps recommend adding other types of obstacles and maybe even some power-ups. Overall a good game, among the ones I've tried it's one of the best

Developer

Thank's alot - I wanted to keep the game short so I don't burn out. But the repetition is something I really do need to fix. It became dull playtesting it whilst making the game and if I could change it I would. Thanks for the Feedback. :)  ❤️👍🏾

A fellow magnet enjoyer! Fun game that can easily do well on mobile. The bounce off of the floor did give me a couple deaths that I felt like I should have avoided, but when I saw some of the high scores people got, I'm clearly just not good at the game. Nice job! And please check out my magnetism switching, coin collecting game as well!

Hey - I already played your game before the ratings and I really enjoyed it. The day ratings came out, I rated it.

Submitted

Oh, thank you! I really enjoyed yours too. Hopefully magnet games will have some good representation on the winning podium haha

Developer( 1)

Yes I Hope! All the ones I play integrate the theme super well!

Submitted

Really fun game!!

Add it to mobile and it would be super addicting!

Amazing job, and best of luck

Developer( 1)

Thanks a lot - I was thinking of adding it to mobile after the jam. ;)

Submitted

Awesome! let me know when u do

Developer

addictive game !

Developer( 1)

Thanks a lot - I appreciate it!

It's a good casual game, good job !

You might consider making it playable on mobile devices ( touch to toggle gravity ).

It's a bit straightforward, could use a touch of innovation, although the overall atmosphere is quite enjoyable...

Developer

I'm planning to make it go mobile after the Jam. :)

Submitted

The animation is simply excellent, and the sound design compliments the animation. The presentation makes it a solid time waster like mine sweeper and solitaire, will the game going to mobile devices by any chance?

Developer

Yes it will after the Jam.

You'd think as a Magnet you'd WANT to attract metal objects :P It's a simple Flappy Bird style game. Cute, fun, but nothing that would draw me back to play over. I think a bit more variety or some other gimmick to help balance the repetitive nature would go a long way. Nice work.

Developer

Yeah I do agree that magnet's should attract metal objects - it was going to be apart of the game. It was going to be a mechanic where you can grab one of the knives and use it as a projectile. However it would continue to not work and make the game run extremely slow. Thanks for the feedback! ❤️👍🏾

this game has funny graphics

Developer

thanks.

I like the asymmetrical movement between being pulled up and falling back down. It really adds a layer of forethought to the switching. Good work!

Developer

Thanks a lot - that's exactly why I implemented it.

Submitted

feels good, having the magnet on middle made me think at first that it goes up, middle and down, later on I got how it works, after a while I started feeling it a bit repetitive, maybe it could use some sort of speed up or getting harder, other than that is pretty good mini game

Submitted

The effects are really good. I feel like more should have been done with the gameplay, since it's a game that feels like it should use all three lanes. Visually hitting the bottom is good, but the bounce can hit the middle knifes which looks good, but isn't good gameplay wise. I got to 3kM with the coins and outside the one flaw it's pretty polished and fun.

Developer( 1)

I wanted to add some more things but like the comment below, I was scared if it would not work at all on some peoples devices. Thanks for the suggestion.

Submitted

Nice runner.
Though it ran REALLY slow on my oldie laptop, I have to take another run with my desktop when I get home.

Well done!

Developer( 1)

I don't know why but it just runs slow on some systems, even on my new laptop occasionally, and on task manager it's not like eating away at the gpu, cpu or ram.

Probably one of the most fun and polished endless runner jam games I have ever played. It is very apparent that you have put a lot of time and effort into making this game feel amazing to play. I ended up playing for quite a while, and as of writing I am second place on the leaderboard with 39153 points! Cheers to my fellow magnet game developer!

Developer

Thanks a lot - 39K Meters is absolutely insane. Some of you guys are too good.

I really enjoyed your game.

I said this before in the comment you made after rating my game, but I would like to repeat it again.  Your game is SUPER POLISHED!  I love the post-processing effects along with the cartoonish art style.  It creates a fun atmosphere throughout the game.  And the jazz, I love jazz music, and you used it completely well.  Lastly, but especially for the UI of the game, it's not very often to see games made for game jams add game juice to menus, buttons, and GUIs since they're made mostly at the end of their game development period, and you nailed the fun game feel my dude.

Also, seeing your post on the community tab, spreading the word about your game through each ratings and making connections with other jammers is part of the game jam experience!  There is nothing wrong with it.  It's not ruining anything when you're really exploring the game and giving feedback to the developers, so keep going my dude! :D

Developer

Thanks a lot - you don't know how much it means to me since this is only my second Jam that I managed to make a game for. When I make Game feel/Juice It's made as I make that object. I feel leaving it to the end is not that good as a game has many elements that you could forget about and then not look good. Thanks to everyone whose played my game. ❤️

Coming from someone who has participated in around 50 game jams but has only managed to submit to five of them, you're doing amazing for your second Jam!

Developer

Thank you.

I came to play the game a few times... Might have gotten hooked until I got the top score haha!

Very polished gameplay, love the gamefeel too! Very solid use of tweens!

Developer

Thanks❣️

I just checked the leaderboards - YOU GOT 41K! Thats crazy and unfathomable. I'm the developer and I struggled so much to just get 20K. Amazing Player. ❤️

Submitted

It really helped that you designed the controls to be so tight and responsive haha! Crazy well built game!

Developer( 1)

thanks ❤️
