If there was a rating for atmosphere, I would give it a 10. I appreciated how you included the controls within the game, and I also wanted to note that it was really fun to play. I spent more time here on average than some of the other submissions because the gameplay loop is very addicting. One thing that wasn't immediately clear to me was that the bar on the right is for light and not distance to a location. I figured it out pretty quickly though.

Good story. I can't beat it due to my skill issue. Nonetheless, this is a nice game. The theme was also used nicely, making the lamp a timer. Well done.

Good job! I liked the music, the graphics and the idea of the light fading as time runs out. Clever the idea of accelerating the fading if you run. Like the "stealth" flavor.

Nice take on the theme, though the fuel runs low way too fast to get to find more fuel.

Game idea is really good, and the visuals and audio is amazing!
I do think that having the enemies be a little bit slower than the players walking speed would have been an improvement because having them walk right behind the player matching their pace looks a little silly.
despite this its a really good game, one of the best I've seen so far!

The walking speed of enemies is faster than the walking speed of the player in order to force the player to run - which is part of the game's mechanics. However, we did not intend to make enemies match the pace of the player and its one issue we did not manage to solve before the submission. After the game jam is over, we will definitely provide a patch.

I seem to be quite bad at the game, though, it's difficult! Reminds me of the Pokemon caves in the old games but way more dangerous ;D

While I liked the visual style and the sound design, the game is pretty unforgiving. Couldn’t even beat the first level after many attempts. Perhaps, some kind of mini-map would help.
We are glad you like the game's art. We are aware the game might seems too hard at first but every mechanic in the game is there for a reason. The suggestion would be to try a different, maybe a more patient approach. We don't wish to spoil it for other players, but one hint we can give you is: try running less 😉.
Moreover, adding something like a mini-map would break the immersion and we explicitly decided not to add additional HUD elements.
Wow, I am really bad at this kind of game. I still can't even beat the first level. It is a very good game though, well done.

What a great game! The graphics of this game are amazing. I love it! That guy really try to explore a cursed dungeon with only a small lantern XD
