Really cool game! Just needs music but it was a very short jam.

Developer( 1)

yeah we tried to but time got us :(, but thats something we'll  implement :)

Submitted( 1)

hey this idea just fit in the theme also the halloween!

Developer

I mean while we brainstormed ideas we tought that halloween would be a nice pick 😄

Submitted( 1)

It's really fun ! Some music would be good though.

Developer( 1)

Yeah, unfortunately we couldn't get any intime :/, but we will make sure to add it after the jam :)

First I played this game in FireFox with very low fps and lags. But win version looking good. I like halloween theme in game, original idea and hardcore gameplay. Good game for prototype, interesting concept. I think with level design (level select screen, scores/time and more visual effects like a screens tremor) and more mechanics like ghosts (from mario/pacman) this game will be awesome for HTML5 game portals. Good luck with this game!

Developer

Wow, thanks for the review!, we really plan on developing this game further and your feedback will surely be taken in considration, we're very glad to see that you liked the game :)

Developer

Thanks!  :)

Good game! I like how you combined the jam and halloween theme together. Game is kinda hard though (which is okay), but the first level shouldn't be that hard cause it's the platform that should allow the player to learn the mechanics first.  But overall, good job esp. with the given time constraint :)

Developer( 1)

Thx for the feedback!, we really went for a very hard game, we planned on making a introductory screen but time got us , but we do plan on implementing it after the jam :)

Submitted( 1)

cool game

Developer( 1)

Thanks :)

I'll just mirror what others have said in the other comments regarding the movement and collisions. Good work for such a short jam :)

Developer

Thanks for the feed back :) we will look into collisions on the version that we plan to release after the jams :)

Submitted( 1)

Fun game but so hard and with some approximate collisions

Developer( 1)

Thanks for the review, lmao we wanted to make it the hardest we could, well give the collisions a look and see where there is something off, thanks for the heads up :)

i cant get the game to run well enough on my PC :( sorry

Developer( 1)

Hey we're sorry to hear that, but we are uploading a downloadable of the game that should run wayy better, we would be very thankful if you could give it a try, it also fixes the problems with the second level onwards.

Developer (1 edit) ( 1)

Hey we just uploaded an executable!, please download and test it and let us know if there's any problem :)

Submitted( 1)

I'll give it a shot here in a bit!!!

Nice game, I like a lot the art and how the gameplay works, also I would like to highlight what LlamaDev Games said, so it can be a better game, but good work for the jam.

Developer

Thanks too for the heads up!, we responded to him on his comment, but the same can be said, it was intentional to increase difficulty, but seeing  all this feedback is really helpful, thanks a lot!

don’t forget to review Necromancer escape

Developer

Already did, and like it a lot :)

Finally got onto my pc so I can play without lag! It's a fun game, and it's cool that you added random generation. The problem with the "if you stop moving you die" games, is that in order to not die, you can just move in a circle until you decide what to do. It makes it feel like an irrelevant game mechanic. But an overall good job!

Developer (2 edits)

Thanks for the comment,  the move in a circle thing was mostly what we intended for the person to do, because the player will have to move and think were to go on the fly , for us that's the main difficulty aspect of the game, but we're glad to see another point of view on this mechanic, thanks a lot for your insight and feedback :)

Wow pumpkin! :D In overall great job. But I have some remarks (if you allow).

The camera position is a bit awkward, I think this is due to the selected palette, it is difficult to determine how far the objects are from the player. Level generation, it's very brave to do this in such a short time, but I was only able to collect all the candy from 5 times and then because random allowed me to do it :D

Anyway, well done!

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks a lot for the comment!, yeah we had little time to master this level generation system, we'll improve it after the jam ends for sure, thanks for the feedback :)

Thanks for the comment!, yeah we too had problems with that but we didn't have enough time to fix that, after the jam we might change the color scheme completly :)

Submitted( 1)

Cool game! I thought the 3D graphics were impressive and the motion of the pumpkin was great! My only complaint was the difficulty level. I wish the first level was easier so I had a chance to get started. I found the even the slighest touch would instantly kill me. Also the obstacles moved in very unpredictable patterns. Maybe a few intro levels could help build the player up to this point. Or maybe a few hits would just bounce you around before your pumpkin cracked.

I really enjoyed this though! The game is fun to control and has a super-monkey-ball feel to it. Good job!

Developer

Thank you a lot for the comment!, we really appreciate it, we tought of making the first level more easy but unfortunately time didn't let us , but after the jam when we publish the game we will take this feedback into consideration!, again thanks a lot :)

The game mostly ran fine for the first level, but the second was unplayable. Also, don't know if this was intentional or not, but you move faster diagonally. If your code uses vectors to move, you can normalize them.

Developer

It was a bug that we have now fixed, related to the level generation, as soon as we get the approval of the organizers we will post the fix, thx for the heads up on the  movement, thx a lot, as soon as the jam is over well fix that (can't fix during because it's against the rules).

Developer

Hey, good news

!, with the approval of the jam organizer we just released an fixed version and a downloadable file if you face any issues with lag! :)

Submitted( 1)

I kinda liked the gameplay but it's unplayable for me in the browser. Lag stops only when i die. Please consider uploading a downloadable version for PC

Developer

ok i will do just that

Developer (1 edit)

Sorry for the late response, got some problems with my pc and was unable to respond for 3 days, soon i will upload an downloadable

Developer( 1)

Hey, it's done, there's a downloadable file on the game's page, let us know if theres any problem with it (it is within the regulation and we had approval to submit the executable)

Submitted (1 edit) ( 1)

Well done! I really like the death effect on the pumpkin. The physics feel nice too.

Submitted (1 edit) ( 1)

Game is unplayable for me because of lag :/.

Developer

Submitted( 1)

Sure

Developer

Just uploaded the executable sorry for the delay, let us know if you have any problems.
