Hahaha, such a unique interpretation of the theme! Gameplay isn't casual at all. It really captures the vibe of 2000s blogs — the music, the style, the eye-straining fonts. Thank you for the dose of nostalgia! :)

Absolute vibes. The clicky sound, punchy music, catty blog post in horrible fonts. The whole thing is just totally vibing. I was not expecting it to be this fun. I did get stuck somewhere halfway through which was a bummer but really this just delivers on a feel with such a simple game design and graphics. Reminds me of the menus in Persona games, just so cool it makes something seemingly banal super fun.

This is a clever interpretation of the theme. I liked that the mechanic wasn’t just using the magnifying glass to get the answer but that the word still had to be figured out. Good job!

Interesting game concept. I love the idea of the game. I couldn't even get past the first section though. Not sure if it was a bug or not? One thing I that I think that would make the game better is just to have one magnifying glass. It's a little bit too much to have three different types that you need to switch between all the time.

Anyway I really like the idea for the game! Best of luck with your jam results!

Developer

Thanks for the suggestion. Yeah, the three magnifying glass is a bit too much. The idea is actually somethiing else that I can't really finish on time.

Such a unique idea for a game, and you really captured the feel of an early 2000s internet blog post, from the music to the art! Moving between secret passages is a bit janky, but it worked for me in the end. All in all, amazing game, and a really interesting and unique interpretation of the theme!

Awesome game. Interesting concept. I got stuck at the Brad part though, I couldn't move using the green light and the blue one just revealed "OC"

EDIT: after reloading a few times I manage to pass brad, but eventually I got stuck again, and only a reload would fix

Developer

Thanks for the effort. I will make it less janky if I have time.

Very interesting interpretation of the theme! Once I realised what was going on, I enjoyed discovering the hidden words. Unfortunately, I got stuck in the first pink section and could not progress the game further :(

Developer

Thanks for playing the game. Working on it to make it less janky.

I found the white text using blue glass but ... nothing happened and I couldnt move anywhere different. Not sure what I missed but I was completely lost.

Developer

Hmm, that might be because when you move the cusor should be within the radius of the light.

Submitted

Tried again - radius of light is lamost exactly centerd on cursor, I can walk in the words 'naturally, naturally, and shiny' but nothing else happens can't do anything :(

It's so creative to navigate between texts with the literal secret passage, the start menu also helps story telling! Love the idea.
