I was a little skeptical about this one at first just because the images in the screenshots seemed a little plain, but I was pleasantly surprised to see one of the most competent games in this jam! I think this is definitely an underrated game, and one that plays well and is easy to whittle time away with. I don't really have many complaints at all, except that maybe the camera movement was a little strong? I also wish the temperature bar had the numerical values beside it so I could know what the temperature was (though i gathered that high = hot and low = cold, so it wasn't really that big of an issue). The sound was great, the art was clean and the colors selected were great for showcasing the warmth of the fires started in the game. Overall, this one is one of my favorites! :)

I really don't know what to say, but the game is great:D everything looks nice and it works great. Well, I don't know if it's just me but in order to drag something I have to double click, that is, I have to double click to drag it. But all good.

The art is very pretty as well.

As a big fan of Little Inferno, I absolutely loved the game! The theme and mechanics are so much fun, and I think there should be more games like this. It’s been a while since I’ve seen something similar. But honestly, I find it incredibly relaxing to set things on fire—maybe I should be worried, haha! If I were to suggest one improvement, it would be to add the ability for fire to spread between objects, which would make the visuals even more impactful. Either way, congratulations on an amazing game!

Hey I saw you work on this on discord haha. I really like the concept of the game how you have to light it up to survive. Nice and chill game to play.

I love it, nice survival game

Awesome entry, I wish fire spread between objects, but it would also make the game much easier. Love the effect of slowly freezing to death, ended up playing a few times.

Lighting stuff on fire is fun! Its also just very chill. Id love to know how you made the shader! If it even is a shader of course. As for improvements maybe add a sound to indicate youre currently freezing to death. Overall really good game!

Thanks for the nice words! The fire shader's just 2 FBX/perlin noise textures moving up at slightly different speeds. I sum up their value and turn that into colors accordingly. I also multiply the value a couple times by the distance from center and height(UV.y).
