A super chaotic space shooter. Love the music, and the graphics is also pretty good. Overall an okay jam game.

I want that music! :) Very catchy!

Those powerups were pretty tricky too. I think I would have liked to see some sort of visual indication on the ship itself when I got hit by a bullet or when a powerup effected me or when I died. Maybe the color of the ship changes with certain powerups, or there's a teeny explosion on the front of the ship when its hit, and when you die, a screen shake or some sort of death animation might make it feel more real and even more fun to play.

It was really fun to fly around with these controls and easy to get used to playing. Very nice entry, great job! :D

Space Invaders like game. Controls are smooth and the game overall is fun to play. Music fits perfectly.

Maybe it's me, but I didn't understand how the red, green, blue things work. Did I miss something?

Nice shooter game. The controls felt good. I tried to use the spacebar to shoot and wondered why it didn't. Then I read the directions on the page and learned that shoot was with the left mouse button. Adding the spacebar to shoot would be a good addition.

The power ups seemed to clump up together and it was difficult getting one while avoiding the other. 

Was there a way to die? I noticed that you didn't die if you ran into an enemy ship. And I wasn't clear on the liar theme part of the game. Was there a part of the game that lied that I may have missed?

I think this game has potential. I hope you keep working on it! Good job!

Got it, I'll add a spacebar to shoot! Yes, there was a way to die, enemy ships kill you, but you have a life, and it's in the upper left corner of the screen (in yellow). Because of the jam theme, we made the power ups disrupt the player instead of helping him, and to pass the level, just take the blue power up!

At first I messed up with the HP theme but I ended up catching it fast (I played without a full screen and it was cut, but it is fixed by selecting the full screen).

Hey, tried out the game.  The movement feels nice and tight.  Good control.  I couldn't tell the power ups were power ups.  With the '!' symbols they look more like dangerous things that were slowly chasing me that I should avoid.  The music was awesome, really like it.  For some reason (probably just my browser - Safari) the game looked dark like there are half transparent black overlay on top of the whole screen.  I tried to reload but same thing.  Anyways, rated - great job finishing!

Power-ups were intentional because of the jam theme! the darkness was because we wanted it to look like a blood moon! Thanks so much for the feedback!

Ah, gotcha.  Good call on the power ups.  And I only thought the darkness was wrong in my browser because I saw the screenshot and it looked a little brighter than what I was seeing.  Anyways, fun game!

I liked the game, but I wish there was a bit more explanation about the power-ups/debuffs. I avoided all of them until I couldn't and they all came at me at once, but the only difference (no matter what I picked up) seemed to be the bullets being slower. If you had some sort of quick title show up when a power-up is collected that explains what it is, that could improve my problem a ton. Overall, though. you did a great job. Congrats!

Good effort! There can be more elements and visuals such as camera shake, particle effects . That will make the shooting alot more impactful.

Gostei do jogo, deve ter sido difícil criar os vários padrões de movimento das naves inimigas em um curto período de tempo. Os efeitos sonoros são interessantes e a música é bacana, parabéns pelo projeto!
Única coisa que eu acho que faltou para manter o jogador mais tempo no jogo é um menu para selecionar os níveis, assim o player sabe qual o próximo nível que ele deve passar e ele fica mais propenso a tentar terminar os níveis!

A good game - it got really crazy very quickly when the screen filled up with enemies! I liked the lighting effects. One suggestion would be that it would be nice for the player to turn towards the mouse, so it could shoot in different directions?
