How does you game fit the theme?
You find yourself alone in an unknown world and presented with a strange device. You may try finding other forms of sentient life, but that may not lead to the best outcome...
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No, most decorations were imported and also the script for terrain generation. Other than that, everything was made during the jam, including most of the code and 3d assets, sfx, materials and shaders.

of course I didn't read the comment below, saying you need the radar.
so I was running around for 10 minutes.
after that I restarted and picked up the radar.
now I was wandering for around 15 minutes in one direction...... :D
I don't really understand the very end of the game, maybe I missed someting?!
anyways, nice game for the gamejam. has some nice ideas.
please check our game: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-8/rate/1678374
You can stream it!
THIS IS VEWY GOOD GAM °C
I liked the terrain, and the 3d models really fit in with the style and aesthetic of the game. I'm personally not a big fan of jumpscares, but I really enjoyed the game regardless. Really well put together for 1 week of work, though could use a tutorial or better descriptive instructions. Overall, very good game. The scenery was nice, and the 3D models blended in nicely with the overall look and feel of the game. Despite the fact that I myself don't like jumpscares, I truly liked the game. Really well done for a week's worth of labour, but could require a tutorial or more thorough directions. Overall, a fantastic game. Would you be intrested in rating or playing my game? It would really help me out, but dont worry if you dont want to, its completely up to you :)
Looking at your game on stream now, make sure to follow me on Twitch :D

followed you but I think I misssed the stream
the choice of using sound ambience is really helping the scenery in this game, it enhance the anticipation here. overall cool game :D
Nice looking game. I like the graphics and the environment, they were well put together. A more in-depth description of how to play the game would have been very helpful, especially for games like this, but other than that, it is still a solid entry, well done!
very nice
I love the atmosphere! And I can’t pick up the radar sometimes, I don't know why. Anyway, good job!
ATTENTION: There are no instructions in the game. When you spawn, look around until you find a pile of rocks on the ground near you. There is a radar on top which you can pick up with E. The game cannot progress without it!!!
I like the 3D models. Audio would add an atmosphere to the game. I enjoyed exploring the world, finding new things. But I couldn't figure out what to do. Overall nice job!
Thank you for playing!! I'll post a comment explaining what to do because a lot of people miss the first objective. I'm sorry about that :(
Great game!
Thanks for playing!!
Cool graphics and terrain! Do you mind rating my game when you get a chance?
Thank you for playing!! I'll rate it as soon as I can ^^
rated, very cool
Thanks for playing!!
Hey a tip for the future the linux build is the .86_64 file not the data folder
Thanks for the info ^^
Wasn’t too sure what to do but I enjoyed wandering around, picked up a stick, I tried heading in one direction for a while and not much happened, still though nice work!
I'm sorry for that, there is a pile of rocks right near the spawn point with a radar on top. I left this in the description too. Sorry it was hard to spot :(
Thank you for playing!!
No worries! I’ll go back and give it another go with the radar!
Thank you so much!!! ^^
It's a good basis for a game but I didn't really know where to go, what to do and what I could interact with. It would have been nice if the game had explained more clearly the goal and how to achieve it.
Thanks for playing!! I ran out of time designing a tutorial, so I left a tip in the description of the game. There is a pile of rocks with a radar on them that you can pick up, next to where you spawn. I'm sad to see it's that hard to find :(
Thank you for giving it a shot though!
