How does you game fit the theme?
Deep Sea diver lets the fear get to him as he traverses the depths of the abyss questioning if what he sees and hears is real or not.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?

The character portraits, the title screen, the UI elements are beautiful. The atmosphere supported by the breathing sound works very well. My advice would be to be able to see the tutorial scenes at all times and also maybe a ley to boost your speed. I also couldn't manage to get past the skill check but I think with a better adjustment that mechanic would work in this type of game. Very well Done!
The art, ambient music and the overall feel is very good!
But I kinda stuck afew time at the "skillcheck" circles thingy.
Really cool looking game. This needs more votes
Very cool game! I felt like it could have more sounds, and the light rotated a bit too slow if you really wanted to stop those things from getting to you. I enjoyed it overall!
Loved the dark and mysterious environment of the game. Congrats on the submission🎉
Really great atmosphere, awesome graphics, loved the concept. Those eye monsters paired with the whisper sounds was so creepy. So great! My only suggestion would be to add some sort of way to ward off the monsters. Unless was the flashlight supposed to do that? If so, the flashlight could have been faster then. Regardless, really cool game overall!
Hi hi Azvickson, yes the flashlight was supposed to fend them off. I'll take note of that suggestion with the flashlight speed. Thank you so much! <3
This game has a really good mood. That thing really scared me, I think the skill check should be longer to bring up the intensity! and also I wish the flashlight and player control were a little quicker. Overall really great game
Thank you 0particle! We'll update the skill check and tweak it accordingly with everyone's suggestion to it as you're right, we really should tweak it up and the flashlight/player control. Cheers <3
Great visuals and audio, it really helps set a good mood. The diving theme is great and I think You have a lot of really neat mechanics that serve that idea very well. Most suggestions I would make were covered in Deylz comment except that I think the movement was fine, the flashlight and player turn should be a bit quicker for how fast the abys creatures are, and more visual indications are needed in the abys to help the player get a sense that they are moving. Of course, I get a lot of those are just things that result naturally from the time constraint aspect of the challenge so it's just a suggestion since I'd really like to see more of this. Great Job!
The atmosphere was great, I felt the genuine fear of exploring the ocean! Good job
Nice game, with a beautiful atmosphere, the jump scares made me feel like I'm playing Subnautica again :D The movement could be faster as well as the flashlight.
Really impressive atmosphere and the art is great.
It did feel a bit awkward not being able to move during text. Would also have been nice to have some particles to help generate a sensation of forward movement.
The atmosphere was definitely the strong suit of your game good job!
And the slight jumpscare actually got me as I was not expecting it at all.
You managed to put in a lot of systems for such a little game which I did not expect when looking at the screenshot.
Even though it's underwater the whole pacing (movement, flashlight targeting, distances) where a little bit too slow for my taste, but I get that's in part personal preference.
I encountered visual some issues, like weird stretching of some assets or that I could see below the ocean floor at one point. I assume these were probably related to me running the game on a different resolution than on your test device.
Also the flashlight-cone was actually covering the mines instead of revealing them ^^
A small annoyance were the dialogue triggers.
I wanted to explore the starting "zone" and ran multiple times into the dialogue trigger so I had to click through it I think 3 or 4 times. Also I get the use of oxygen tanks after the first one, no need to display the exact same message every time I approach a new one.
Overall a nice experience, thank you for making it.
Hi there, thanks so much for such a thorough and detailed review!
I personally agree with a lot of your points, this was our first game and realized how much things we wanted to put into it but unfortunately ran into the troubles of time constraints. Some mines were actually being covered by the flashlight to indicate that they weren't real, hehe!
We hope to fix these problems with future updates, thank you so much and we appreciate you taking the time to play the game fully to create such a detailed review. :)
That's a great game, it really shows that a lot of work was put into it. Congrats!
I really enjoyed the game. The whole idea of the mc going back to solve a mystery and all was amazing. A very well made game
Thank you so much for having the time to actually play the game!
Glad you enjoyed! We put a lot of love into this game. :)
Overall a great game. I really liked the feel of the game, scuba diving in the deep ocean can be very scary and creepy, this game captured it very well. Enjoyed it a lot, well done!
Thank you Busy Hamster for your kind and earnest feedback! <3
