How does you game fit the theme?
The main character, Benjamin, thinks he is alive and a real boy. But actually, he is dead and a ghost. In other words, he is not a real person. Also, the game seems to be an adaptation of a horrible movie called "Alive", which isn't a real movie.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, all code and assets were made by me, except the shaders. I found the shaders online.

That TV shader thing was freaking unreal. Please please post a link for that.
The game was awesome .I enjoyed the theme, moving and the very entertaining main menu.

nice work

Please can you play my game. I'm looking to gain more feedback on what to improve on.

Thank you

Wow!! i'm super super impressed by the graphics! Not only from being able to mimic the distortion from watching it through a television, but even if you took that out I thought the art was cute and really clean! Not only that but I love how it seemed like the music changed from that first area that was all light before going to the darker area! the mechanics felt clean and as the game progressed it got harder, but not too hard which I appreciated! Awesome job!

Nice game with a simple concept. I feel like the TV screen effects and the post-processing were just too much for me, I suggest you tone it down a little and make an epilepsy warning at the beginning, or make it changeable through a settings menu. The jumping felt very floaty, it was hard to control the character when jumping. Regardless, I was able to make it until the end, finding out the horrible truth.

The graphics and the ending make me want to see more of the gam

I loved the graphics when I saw the screenshots, but when playing the game the screen slides are a bit too much and you ended up tiring my eyes faster than they need to.

Very cute and easy to use game otherwise.

Good concept and very nice visuals!

Funny ending! Great use of post-processing to help sell the concept. The levels did ramp up in difficulty in a way that I thought was engaging. The controls were also pretty good! I would have loved a counter or something for the leaf collectables! Good job!

Cool! The visual effects are great, and the music slowly getting more and more out of pitch is a nice touch. Well done!

Has a nice concept. The TV statics a bit disorienting to look at but overall nicely made :)

Very fun concept and game!

Also, what engine did you use to make this? I think we used a similar shader haha.

Developer

I use Godot to create the game.

Awesome art. I enjoyed it! I think the jump was a bit too high and the music should be turnd down slightly but otherwise awesome game!

This was a fun game! I'd just suggest making the last dialog bigger, because it was hard to see. But besides that, nice work! I loved the television effect!
