really cool game . Had a lot of fun playing maybe make the ghosts hurt the player and need to fix the jump so that the player does not stick to the edges of the platforms. I like the art music and the concept

I liked it, maybe to make it more dangerous the ghosts should hurt you if they touch you.
Quite cool concept, the graphics were really nice and the music was great too. Firstly, I was confused what I should do and why don't the ghosts kill me but then I realized they aren't real. There were some bugs with walls and I couldn't move with wasd instead of arrow keys. Otherwise good job.

Love the graphics and color palette. The progression from each level to the next was good! Sometimes the ghosts that were in the dark went into the light and destroyed themselves. I had fun though, good job on completing and submitting the game!

The ghosts just roam around they don't really pose a threat to the player, which I assumed isn't intended,
I think the game would be really nice, with extra levels or more puzzles with a slightly more challenging curve.
However, the concept is really nice, and I think with some extra work would make for a really good game
Thank you! Yes it was difficult to get this all setup and done in time for the jam. The ghosts are probably going to be replaced with some shadow monsters and I would like to have at least 60 levels of gameplay. Thank you for playing :)
The light switching would make for some fun puzzles. But the levels were a little easy. I was expecting the ghosts to kill me.

thanks its just 5 for this Jam. As you can probably tell the idea is for them to be quick, but to also gradually escalate in difficulty as you go. I am looking to make around 50-60 levels and add one or two other mechanics! Thank you for playing :)

nice idea for a game. switching the lights on and off could definitely lend itself to some very interesting puzzle design. The art is nice and clean but the controls could do with a tweak, it was a little tricky to control the character and I kept getting stuck on walls when jumping.
thanks for playing and the feedback. Yes the feedback seems to indicate that the jump needs to be improved and there is currently a bug with my physics2d material not working for some reason, causing the occasional stickiness that you experienced.

really cool idea! a bit short but i understand its a prototype. also it might be a bit more challenging if ghosts could actually kill you, but overall great game!
That was a fun idea. It would be neat if ghosts reappear if they move out of the light. Good work, hope you finish it in the future!
Thanks I've been thinking about that mechanic - will definitely experiment with it because I think it could give me some options with making more levels more challenging :) Definitely doing more work on this game going forward - thank you for playing and for the feedback!
It's a well-designed prototype and I'm confident this could be made into something really unique with enough work. The prototype is a bit basic but that's to be expected of a prototype.

I've actually got a few extra in my current build but I'm not messing with this itch submission right now (no idea what would happen if I uploaded a new build!). I have big plans for this game so stay tuned if you're interested :D
Cool puzzle idea!
Nice prototype, a mix of puzzle platformer. I have to say, it does have potential even though it will require a lot of work to execute it properly.
It is a really cute game, with a great idea behind it! For me the controls were a bit confusing but it was a cute and cool game for being only a prototype, good job!
