Good game, was fun and chill, although I would've prefered if it was a bit more difficult and more space to react against the flying objects. Good job on the game, brings some flash games vibes 👏!

How does your game fit the theme?
You get a moment of calm before the storm hits to build defenses for your house.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, even the font (I am never making a font again)

Simple but fun game, really liked the different types of blocks you can place and the powerups like being able to strengthen iron or to heal. The visuals look really good and the mechanics are working and very well done.
Pretty fun. How many waves are there? I can't pass the 9th wave.
I had fun with it. For some feedback, I feel like the hitbox for clicking on things could have been expanded as you often feel like you clicked them even if you probably were 2 pixels of, I guess a rotation feture would be nice, and the bouncing objects can be brutal with them sometimes getting stuck between objects so maybe applying some force away from the house could have been nice
Fun game, liked the storm music a lot! I think a feature to remove blocks in case I misplace them would have been nice, but I understand if that's an intended difficulty. Initially the goofy paint graphics made me think it was going to be an unpolished game, but actually it's good! :)
I feel like this game might mislead people. The mspaint graphics might make people think it's just this cobbled together mess of a game but that's not the case at all. It's very well made, all the mechanics feel very crisp and the gameplay loop is very satisfying. Great work! Congrats and good luck!!
Really fun game tbh. I loved the concept of the game. And the best thing about your game is the stats customization. I just put everything on max and watched as the mess unveil before my very eyes.
I had fun with this game very simple build and defend game. I made it to wave 6 idk if there was anything more to see after that??
The art and music fit nice together and the idea is good with the theme. Well done!
Awesome concept! With a little bit of polish I can see this game being amazing! Congrats and good luck!
Loved that you could set the difficulty in the settings! Love interpretation of the theme as well. It would be nice to have a shorter cooldown between clicking things. Overall very good game!
Good game overall! I had fun playing it and lasted until round 6. Just for goofs I tried setting the start round to 100 and as expected my house got obliterated instantly. Keep up the good work!
Really well done on the theme implementation! Music is also good for both the building phase and the storm phase. My only issue was when clicking on objects that take more than 1 hit, you're unable to click again until the object has already hit your house/barrier.
Clicking seems to only be viable for doors, as you can't click the other debris fast enough to clear them before they reach your house. That's how It was for me, anyways. Could be a skill issue. Regardless I managed to get along by building good defenses in the prep phase. The game was pretty neat!
Well done.
I always have a love for games where you barricade and defend things! Had a lot of fun.
A couple of my thoughts on how things could be improved if you are interested:
-Clicking on projectiles to harm them isn't really viable at this screen size. Maybe consider making the screen wider if you want that to be an option?
-Being able to rotate pieces could help a lot with build variety.
-Some defense types other than walls could be cool!
Thanks for the feedback!
-The clicking is intended to let you get through the early waves with skill and reaction time so that you can save more money and also not sit and do nothing every round. Widening the screen would make it less skill-based.
-This one confuses me because you can rotate pieces? You just need to right click and it says so at the bottom.
-Yeah, I didn't get time to add more unfortunately. Might update the game after the jam.
Simple and surprisingly addictive! Just how many storms will this house have to weather?! I really like that in the storm phase you have to click very frantically and actively, and it's fun to have something to do in that phase. Very good, literal use of the theme! More fun than I thought it'd be from the presentation. I was hoping there would be an extra element/more content to mix up the gameplay after a few waves though
