How does your game fit the theme?
The player is trapped in a haunted house. In order to uncover the mysteries of the house he will need to find a way to get to the basement, but the door is locked. How can he open it, and What is behind that door?
I hope it is worth a try to find out
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code from scratch and I created around 90% of the assets, both 3d models and textures. The other 10% were either from older projects or acquired from the internet but through the appropriet licencies

It's a cool game, I like the atmosphere. I was kinda suprised of the laugh but overall it's a good game my dude.
Very spooky atmosphere! I had fun playing your game! I love the subtle storytelling and heart you evoked, while keeping the gameplay suspenseful :) Great job!
Graphically great game! Im assuming the silence is so the creepy laughing sounds come through. Good job!
Cool game!
Nice game, gave me the chills! Great work on this!
This was cool! The laugh caught me off guard the first time it happened and I went "NOPE!" out loud to myself. Really nice how everything fit together and the rooms/puzzle had a good flow to them. I could definitely see you fleshing this out. I love these kinds of games where you learn the story as you explore.
Thanks again for playing/rating Untangled! I hope you make it to rank! Sorry it took me a bit to get to you! Congrats on finishing the jam!
This was a nice game! I liked having to solve the puzzle and the door closing on me and creepy laughs were spooky. The only thing I would add is it would be nice to have the reticle on the screen the whole time and turn red when you hover over an interactable object as a nice QoL change. Nice job! It would be great if you checked out my game as well if you find some free time!
Scaaaary, the laugh got me on high alert
Spoooky)
Nice one, keep on!
great atmosphere! very spooky. love this! keep it up
not gonna lie, i did jump when i heard the laughing 😅
only issue i ran into is interacting with objects sometimes took a few tries to work.
Scary atmosphere got to me. Good job!
Very scary atmosphere! Well done!
Keep it up!
I'm easily scared, so it was hard to play x) That was really spooky. I though you made a jumpscare
Haha, your game was also hard for me to play, as I also get easily scared! For that reason I decided to make a horror game for the first time.
I also find it kind of ironic that we both made a horror game, besides how scared we become because of them, haha!
Dang, the giggle got me, It was total silence until that giggle hit me, good game btw. Great job in creating most of the assets! Just a heads-up, be careful in placing them in the game; avoid making them stick too close or pass through each other, as there's some clipping. Overall, great job!
Yes I was aware of the clipping issue, but I though I had fixed most of those issues, but I guess some I didn't notice in time.
Thanks for playing my game, glad it could scare you and I am glad you found it good!
This is a very solid game! Keep it up!
Thank you a lot!
Because I forgot to write somewhere the controls for the game, here they are:
Use WASD to move around
Press E to interact with items when the red dot appears in the middle of the screen
Press Q to close any UI that you open
Press F to swich on and off your flashlight if you need to
Have fun playing!
Looks good, gave me chills, and has nice details with the light going out and the laughing in the background. I sadly couldn't get the book out of my face to see the rest of the game. But good work mate!
Hi, thanks for trying my game out!
Sorry for the book thing, I forgot to add a menu for that lists the controls. You need to press "Q" to close the book that you opened.
You can also press "F" to close the flashlight if you need to.
At first i was actually sad that the game had no audio but that first giggle i heard gave me the shivers. Still i think you could invest into some sounddesign and youll have a really nice experience game, great job.
Hi, thanks a lot fro trying my game out, and thank you for the feedback I really appreciate it! Truth is that I have never managed to create music for any of my games as I am not sure where to start from. I would really appreciate it if you told me how you tackle that problem yourself. Now for the sound effects, I wanted to add a door and a flashlight sound but forgot to do so, but the drawers, and the candle had a small sound effect play when used.
and again, Thanks!
There are multiple ways from creating your own songs in a daw like FL studio, to just recording you play something in audacity or combine multiple field recordings for an ambient soundtrack. Id say just go out and record anything that you find interesting and youll have an ambient sound rather quickly. If you really want to make your own music you should either get a hand into music theory basics or get a synthesiser of any kind. could be a digital one like vital or serum, or a physical one which you could combine with it like the akai mk3, which is a really decent and rather cheap one.
Hope i could give some new infos, cheers :)
