Nice game! The gameplay loop could be more interesting, but I liked the level design and the music. Good job!

Very nice game with great potential.

I really like the diver's animations. The scenery is nice and the chill atmosphere is pleasant.

Like many of the other comments, I just regret that there's no upgrade system, which would have been a real plus.

Great work in a week!

the game has a nice risk/reward factor by having you go back up to the surface to deposit what you collected. but other than that, the gameplay is pretty dull; it mostly consists of you collecting diamonds, rubies, and gold while avoiding fish. it'd be nice if there was an upgrade system or really any kind of progression system. But still, this is a really solid game for one week!

Good base for a game. I would have liked some kind of upgrade system as a gameplay loop where you sell the treasures and buy upgrades or something (see our game for reference ;) ). Also in the main menu it said how many treasures I had collected, but when loading the game again I started at 0.

Good game! I loved the variety of threats you got going, and the atmosphere with the music was calm and relaxing.  But, there was barely a reason not to sprint, so maybe a stamina bar will help balance it out. Other than that, nice work!

Developer

Thank for feedback I will try the stamina bar...

Hey Rakesh, I just finished playing. I got so close to beating it at the end! I think I had the last diamonds and gold but got killed on the way up :(. I really liked the variation in enemies, like how sometimes you had to lead them away to get past them. I think there could have been some penalty for sprinting, maybe by making it faster but only last a couple seconds, because I just held it down the whole time. Great work on this!

If you have time, feel free to check out my game too I am also a solo dev :)

Developer

Thank for feedback, I think game needs some more machanism and equipment for win the game because I also can't win the game without cheating. I will try your suggestions.

Loved this! Relaxing to play, nice gameplay loop. I also see that we used one of the same asset packs :) funny for me having to avoid the fish when I spent last week actively trying to eat them haha. Good job!

It is a great take on the theme! really simple but addictive game loop! I could see this game being on the mobile app store if the camera was in portrait mode! Great job!

Cool and relaxing game. My first idea was something like that so it made me happy to see your game :)

Can you try and rate my game ?

I have created a few practice games in the past, and this marks my first experience participating in a game jam.

Sure, I will.

Very therapeutic game, I liked it! You could benefit from a little boost ability to dive faster, and maybe a little bit of an upgrade to the tutorial system. However, this game gave me such a calming feeling which is so nice! Thanks for that!

Nice game, there’s room for improvements, but games generally take months or years to make, so this is wonderful as in 1 week!

Love the fact that it has a feeling of our game in it haha :D fun little game and worth pointing out to others. Enjoyed the gameplay :) gg

I find the art styles in the game don't really mix well and I also find it pretty hard to distinguish which objects would let me through and which don't. I also feel like holding shift is pretty useless if there's no stamina bar and would just prefer the normal speed be faster. But overall, pretty solid game!

Developer

You're welcome for the feedback! I have solved the minor issues. The concept of a stamina bar sounds intriguing and could definitely enhance the gameplay experience. However, I'm currently unsure about how it will seamlessly integrate into the existing game mechanics. If you could provide more details or clarify how the stamina bar will interact with other elements of the game, I'd be better equipped to offer guidance and suggestions.
