Neat puzzle game! I like all 4 modes of movement. All are cool.
Absolute gem of an entry, well done! Really cohesive, good puzzle design, art and design stand out. Only issue was the blocking walls would creep up on me because I am colorblind and couldn't see them at all lol. Totally solid entry otherwise though, well done!
Glad you enjoyed it! Sorry for not considering colorblindness - I know it's tough to include during a jam but it's definitely something we should consider if it involves a main mechanic. Thanks for playing and for your feedback!
Finished all 13 levels! Love the style and visuals, fun puzzles, a good amount to keep me invested. Thanks for the game peeps!
Thanks for playing!
Great visuals and intuitive puzzles. I do wish the puzzles had a little more leeway to solve them instead of one or possibly two solutions, but overall it was very cute and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Also the menu system and the tutorial were fantastic for a jam game. Great work!
Totally agreed! I saw a few people solving puzzles in ways we didn’t intend, so it would’ve been cool to try to allow for more of that. Thanks for playing and for the feedback 🙏
What a charming puzzle game! The soundtrack is pleasant and the art UI help this look very polished. Apart from that, the puzzles themselves were well laid out, and the different modes have nice abilities. Great work ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚
Super polished game. Loved the mechanic please make this into a bigger title.
Thanks for the nice words! If we end up releasing a larger title, I’ll let you know :)
Amazing job! This game has an incredible amount of polish. From the art and aesthetic to the sfx and music. The puzzles were a nice challenge and I loved the game play as well. Great work!
That was really fun, and the mechanics were clear to understand! One of the middle puzzles was pretty tough for me, but the rest felt pretty easy. Not in a bad way, more of a satisfying way. I also loved the overall aesthetics, especially the key art! Great job!
One thing though, a reduced motion mode would’ve helped given the constantly moving background. That’s more of an accessibility concern than a gameplay one.
The background speed is definitely a post-jam regret! Ah well, glad you enjoyed the gameplay, thanks for your comment.
Good, fun and unique idea, and really well executed!
Very nice presentation and the tutorial tool tips worked great for learning how to play
i thought the solutions where fairly obvious, maybe i was cheesing the intended solutions because the puzzle design came across a bit more like a maze and not really based around an a-ha moment
Interesting perspective! It’s difficult to balance a puzzle game for a game jam audience, but I’ve thought about this comment a lot today while I think about potentially expanding the game. If you have any thoughts about how you see a puzzle vs a maze I’d be curious to hear them!
a maze is just about finding the correct path to the exit, so like where to turn or in this case which modes to use to progress the path.
a puzzle usually has a moment of insight for the player to uncover. For this to happen it usually feels like the puzzle is impossible (even for split second) or you're completely out of options at some point (not just about turning different corner) then you realise you could do something that you haven't done before (the a-ha moment)
when watching people play the best puzzle games you'll see them get stuck for a little bit before it finally hits them (they'll start with trial and error but hopefully find the actual solution through creativity)
its also a lot of fun designing levels that try to inspire such a specific feeling in the player
Nice and clever puzzle game, well done!
This is such a polished and fun puzzle game! I made it to the end, but it was pretty perfectly challenging throughout. The initial tutorial was great, but I was most impressed by how you presented the mechanics one by one. Great sound, cute sprites, congratulations on a great jam game!
The puzzles are well designed and the gameplay is fun! I really appreciated how you decided to opt for the player to figure the modes out through gameplay rather than a huge wall of text tutorial for each. Love the art and music/sfx here as well, it's all super polished and well done. Awesome entry!
Super polished! The sound design was really what stood out to me as well. Really took this rather simple puzzle concept to the next level
Totally agree! We got very lucky when we found our sound designer and composer - definitely stepped up the overall effect of the game.
Thanks for the kind words about the sound. Glad you enjoyed it.
I love the art and sound design! Amazing amount of polish for only 2 weeks. Excellent work!
Cute and fun game! Level difficulty ramp up was perfect and descriptions made it feel very polished.
My favourite game so far, Excellent work!
So glad you enjoyed it!
Love love love this one! I got to level 7 and gave up because I got like 500 other games to play but I may have to come back to this. Great concept, great design, fitting music, tight controls, appropriately scaling difficulty for 13 levels. Kudos! Really and enjoyable and fun experience.
Very clever and fun puzzle game, I really enjoyed the way the maps were constructed. The levels were tightly designed and the overall aesthetic was highly polished. Definitely a great contribution to the jam!
Great art and huge amount of polish! Lots of cool ideas working together here to make some nifty puzzles. I was a little distracted by the speed of the background scrolling past sometimes, but the learning curve for the controls and mechanics was really smooth. Really liked the sound design too! Nice work.
