Very cool and fun precision platformer! The art and sound were really good and the controls felt very polished. My only complaint was that it kinda felt like I wasn't starting at the first stage. The difficulty kinda felt unfair given that I haven't had much time to get used to the controls and mechanics. All in all, a solid entry. Good job dude!
Interesting game, surprisingly high quality art. But the way camera snaps instead of being smooth messess with my eyes a lot
A challenging, hard-core platformer that pulls no punches! Controls felt smooth, but the overall gameplay felt like everything was happening at 2x the speed. The plot and main concept of the game is quite amusing.
Definitely a good entry.
The animation is quite excellent. It's very fluid despite the low pixel resolution, which is right up my alley. I like the music too.
I had fun in the little bit that I played. Unfortunately I am bad at platformers so I didnt get that far. But the controls felt nice and I loved the art style
Super game !
I liked the game a lot, but I wanted to like it more. It looks very nice and for the most part feels good, but every so often it would feel like inputs would drop (this could be a webGL related issue) and the tolerances of spikes seems both really tight at times and also really loose. The third screen alone took me a while to figure out because of that and I think a more gradual difficulty curve overall could help out.
ALL of that being said however I did like it. The visuals, music, and sound effects are all very well done and when it feels good it feels VERY good and is a really solid platformer. I also really like the idea of having a gun that is used for additional momentum and it gives the player a lot of freedom mid-air.
I get an error while loading: abort("both async and sync fetching of the wasm failed")
The controls are very responsive, and the music is so pleasant. I enjoyed it
Love the colour palette and overall aesthetic.
Took me a while to realise that I could use the gun while jumping to gain more height, but it was a cool mechanic when discovered.
Would have liked the difficulty to be a bit more forgiving early on as I got stuck longer than I'd like to admit on the third stage.
Fun game :)
Cool platformer. I thought it good but a bit clunky. Nice game though!
I loved the atmosphere and how the game looked, the color choices and music are great.
I think the player should not start inside of the pit. it took a while for me to even get out, and the few times I managed to I got hit and sent back down. also the music did not loop.
overall the art and music are awesome and the game will greatly benefit from a level design overhaul.
Appreciate the feedback! I've updated the game to fix any bugs I could find and make it more user-friendly. Perhaps you'd want to give it another go?
Hi! I played the game again, It is now way better then before, the controls feel better and the checkpoints after every screen were really helpful. I found out accidentally that shooting and jumping at the same time made you jump higher, not sure if its intended or not but this is how I got past the first few stages. the game was hard and I got stuck after a while. good changes overall and I think you should clean up the level design after the jam because the base is really charming.
I really like the graphics and the music, but I couldn't even figure out how to get out of the opening pit. Dash is not working for me. Could I get a more detailed description of what to do?
I've updated the game to fix every bug I could find. Movement should be much more intuitive.
