Sophie Dee, pseudonimo di Kirsty Hill, è nata a Llanelli, cittadina gallese, il 17 gennaio 1984 ed è la sorellastra delle attrici pornografiche Linsey Dawn McKenzie e Alyson McKenzie.

Prima di entrare nell'industria ha lavorato come spogliarellista e ha posato come modella in topless per i giornali del Regno Unito[2]. Il suo nome d'arte deriva dalla circostanza che la gente spesso le diceva che assomigliava alla modella Sophie Dahl[2]. Nel 2005, dopo essersi trasferita in California, entra nell'industria a 21 anni[3].
