🇮🇹 BCG BrightHouse Featured in Forbes! 🇪🇺 Workplace Relationships Are Evolving: How Employees are Rethinking Engagement 🤔 The way we view our relationship with work has undergone a radical shift, thanks to new technologies and changing beliefs about how and where we work. BCG BrightHouse conducted a study to analyze this profound change, and the results have been published in the report 'Employees and Companies: Bringing Back the Spark in Employee Engagement.' The research, based on 2,500 interviews across Europe 🇪🇺 (France, the UK, Italy 🇮🇹, Germany, and Sweden), specifically examines how employees and managers perceive and address their current work and future prospects. 🌟 Cara Castellana Kreisman, Senior Strategy Director at BCG Brighthouse, is quoted as saying, "The concept of purpose is becoming increasingly important in Europe." Relational aspects (71% overall 🇪🇺 , 78% in Italy 🇮🇹). 👉 Additionally, 31% of respondents wish to work for companies whose contributions to society are recognized across different countries. In Italy, 15% would accept a reduced salary (5% to 20%) to work for a company aligned with their values. Changing Work Preferences: 36% of European employees 🇪🇺 and 31% in Italy 🇮🇹 prefer working autonomously. 35% overall and 37% in Italy 🇮🇹 prefer working in small groups. With the opportunity to allocate 10% of their weekly work time to alternative projects, 16% of European workers 🇪🇺 and 15% in Italy 🇮🇹 would choose to be more involved in company decision-making. The workplace is evolving, with employees increasingly valuing empathy and well-being.
