Unfortunately, what happens to many of these folks is that they fail. Either they misread the cultural cues as to how disruptive they should really be (versus what they had been told) or they didn’t build the supportive relationships needed to back them up on key decisions — or both. Because they didn’t receive the proper onboarding advice, if any, they underestimated the cultural bounds they’d have to work within. Sales of electric cars in Brazil in the first eight months of 2024 doubled those of the whole of 2023. This was reported in a press release by the Brazilian National Association of Automobile Manufacturers (Anfavea), according to which as of August 31, 41,000 100% electric cars had been registered compared to 19,300 last year. Also this year, electric car sales have surpassed those of hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles for the first time. Anfavea estimates that they will exceed 60,000 units sold by the end of the year. Electric vehicles have taken the lead for the first time since the start of the historical series that began in 2020.    The share of electric vehicles in Brazil's car market reached 2.7% in August, exceeding the 1% threshold for the first time. #electromobility #evs
