Digital entrepreneur and proud mum of two. Passionate about education and kids, I’m the CEO & Co-founder of Marshmallow Games, a digital edtech startup that creates educational mobile apps for kids that help them learn in a fun way mixing storytelling with games. Our mission is to give value to the time that children spend with mobile devices, creating safe digital experiences that engage the whole family.
Here I’m in charge, among other things, of business development, partnerships and fundraising.

Marshmallow Games started as a three-people business and has since grown to employ 22 talented people, with different skills and backgrounds, raising 3,5M€ among grants, financed projects and private investments from business angels and leading Italian VCs.

We’ve totally launched 20 apps used by millions of kids worldwide, topping the mobile store charts in more than 160 countries.

Now we’re focused on the evolution and growth of Smart Tales (www.smarttales.app), a collection of interactive stories and games that teaches STEM subjects to children aged 3 and up. Within Smart Tales, kids can learn the basics of science, math and understand social and environmental issues while being immersed in fun, vibrant storytelling worlds.
We are working hard to make Smart Tales one of the leading apps in the pre-k educational global landscape.

I’ve been part of the selection board of PIN (Pugliesi Innovativi) program, promoted by the Apulia region, giving my contribution to the growth of the local innovation ecosystem.

In December 2021 I was elected president of InnovUp, the association of the Italian innovation and startup ecosystem, for the three-year period 2022-2024. As president of InnovUp I want to contribute to the expansion of a network of companies that share the same goals and ambitions and to facilitate national and international relations between companies and institutions to accelerate the growth of the Italian innovation ecosystem.

In the last 7 years I have taken part in many events relating to innovation, entrepreneurship, business and startups as a speaker, mentor and judge.

    In Smart Tales you can find over 80 interactive tales, more than 700 educational games and hundreds of animated story pages dubbed by professional actors.

    It is localized in five languages, English, Spanish, French, German and Italian and it is available for iOS and Android.
    Featured as app of the day by Apple in more than 50 countries it has received 11 international awards for the educational and didactic value and for its overall safety.
