La struttura ricettiva si trova nel cuore delle Dolomiti, dal 2009 aggiunte alla lista del Patrimonio Naturale Mondiale UNESCO, in Val Gardena, una delle cinque valli ladine, famosa in tutto il mondo per l’intaglio del legno. 🌳Another Vireo customer in South Tyrol awarded GSTC-Hotel certification. Dall’11 al 13 ottobre Vireo ha partecipato al “Sustainability Summit”, organizzato da San Vigilio Dolomites / Tourism Destination, insieme al team di ETIFOR e di Destinaction e sponsorizzato dalla struttura ricettiva certificata GSTC Ütia de Börz gestita da Thomas Wieser. L’evento, un workshop sul turismo sostenibile, si è svolto al Passo delle Erbe e ha avuto come partecipanti il Presidente di GSTC Italia Working Group Stefano Ravelli, la Prof.ssa dell’Università di Trento Federica Buffa e rappresentanti delle prime tre destinazioni italiane certificate Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC). Il secondo giorno di summit il nostro auditor Diego De Santis ha fatto un intervento dal titolo “Esperienze dal campo: il percorso di un giovane certificatore nel mondo della certificazione GSTC”. From 11 to 13 October, Vireo took part in the ‘Sustainability Summit’, organised by San Vigilio Dolomites, together with the ETIFOR and DestinAction teams, and sponsored by the GSTC-certified accommodation Ütia de Börz, managed by Thomas Wieser. The event, a workshop on sustainable tourism, took place at Passo delle Erbe and was attended by the President of the GSTC Italia Working Group Stefano Ravelli, Prof. Federica Buffa of the University of Trento and representatives of the first three Italian GSTC-certified destinations. Si trova in un antico palazzo medievale, nel cuore del centro storico della città marinara, a due passi dal famoso acquario e dalla Lanterna. Simbolo di Genova, la Lanterna è il faro più alto del Mediterraneo, ben 77 metri, ed è considerato il più antico al mondo tra quelli ancora in attività. The Best Western Porto Antico, in Genoa, has been certified GSTC-Hotel. It is located in an ancient medieval palace in the heart of the old maritime city centre, a stone's throw from the famous aquarium and the Lanterna. 🌳Lunedì 21 ottobre eravamo alla Fiera di Bolzano per Hotel Sustainability Award 2024. Nella top 10 troviamo quattro hotel certificati da Vireo. La classifica finale ha visto al terzo posto Olm Nature Escape e al secondo posto Kessler’s Mountain Lodge, entrambi nostri clienti. Complimenti a loro! A seguire l’intervento di Massimo Vallotto, in rappresentanza di Ca’ Apollonio Heritage, Bistrot e Gourmet, primo ristorante del Veneto ad ottenere la certificazione CER. 🌳On Monday 21 October we were at the Bolzano Trade Fair for the Hotel Sustainability Award 2024. In the top 10 we found four hotels certified by Vireo. The final ranking saw Olm Nature Escape in third place and Kessler's Mountain Lodge in second place, both our customers. 🌿𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 – 11 Ascott properties in Singapore have achieved the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) certification, raising our tally of GSTC-certified properties in the city to 14! The newly certified properties include The Robertson House by The Crest Collection, Ascott Orchard Singapore, lyf Funan Singapore, and Citadines Rochester Singapore.   With this multi-site certification, over 90% of accommodation units across The Ascott Limited’s managed properties in Singapore are now GSTC-certified. ⚓Nuova certificazione Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC)-Hotel emessa da Vireo. Questa volta si tratta del Marina di Petrolo Hotel & Spa a Castellammare del Golfo, in provincia di Trapani. Castellammare del Golfo sorge nell’omonimo golfo ed alle pendici del Monte Inici. La cittadina nacque come “emporium Segestanorum”, ovvero porto della vicina Segesta; il termine “emporion” indicava infatti località marittime adibite a scarico e deposito delle merci in arrivo. ⚓New GSTC-Hotel certification issued by Vireo. This time it is the Marina di Petrolo Hotel & Spa in Castellammare del Golfo, in the province of Trapani. Castellammare del Golfo stands in the gulf of the same name and on the slopes of Mount Inici. The town was founded as ‘emporium Segestanorum’, or port of the nearby Segesta; the term ‘emporion’ in fact indicated maritime locations used for unloading and storing incoming goods. #vireo #gstc #sustainability #sustainabletourism
