In August 2008, an extraordinary project was completed in China, where a 1000 kV power line with 8 bundled conductors was installed using advanced equipment and non conventional stringing methodology. The equipment included 4 puller-tensioners of 2 x 45 kN, an Electronic Speed Synchronizing System, and the use of pulling ropes from 13 to 18 mm, in order to achieve an 8x8 stringing process, in which every single sub-conductor of the bundle has been strung with an independent pulling rope, all in the same time. Facing challenging terrains and overcoming numerous obstacles, the machines once again demonstrated their exceptional capabilities.This achievement not only enhanced China's energy infrastructure but also confirmed our ability to transform complex challenges into concrete successes.
