We are proud to have partnered with Armstrong Capital Management Limited on the successful revamping of a site in Norfolk.   Since taking over operations in 2018, our goal has been consistent: to deliver the most effective solutions that enhance performance and maximise energy production at our client’s solar sites. Customer service until the end: Inspection at the end of the warranty👷♀️☀️   Regular inspections are essential to guarantee the performance and longevity of solar energy systems. At Stern Energy Germany, we conduct thorough examinations to detect potential damage early and ensure the optimal operation of the system⚡️   In addition to a visual inspection, this service includes a functional check and, if required, additional measurements to scrutinise the system in even greater detail. Our experienced technicians customise the check-up to the specific requirements of each system. At the end of the inspection, our customers receive a full report on the current condition of the strings, inverters, modules, etc., which can also include offers for additional services such as repairs or maintenance contracts on request ☀️🔋 ~ Kundenservice bis zum Schluss: Inspektion zum Ende der Gewährleistung 👷♀️☀️   Eine regelmäßige Inspektion ist unerlässlich, um die Leistungsfähigkeit und Langlebigkeit von Solaranlagen zu gewährleisten. 🌞 Stern Energy has successfully completed another major revamping project on a PV plant for Obton Italy! 🌞 🔧 This 1 MWp plant, located in the province of Ancona, has been “revamped” from fixed structures to single-axis trackers. Original Stäubli MC4 connectors were chosen and used, ensuring high quality, long-term reliability, and efficiency. In addition to the installation of single-axis trackers, we replaced inverters, module cables, and refurbished the low-voltage station. The system can now be monitored remotely, improving management, maintenance, and overall performance. The project involved local collaborators, ensuring a positive impact on the community. ⚡ This technological upgrade not only increases efficiency and reduces occupied space but also extends the technological life of the plants, ensuring long-term production beyond the expiration of incentives. The upgrade will increase plant's yield by 400 equivalent hours and save a significant amount of CO2, equal to 798 tCO2/year, contributing to a more sustainable future. Thanks to the synergy between Stern Energy, Obton Italy, and STÄUBLI, this project represents a step forward in innovation and sustainability in the photovoltaic sector. ~ 🌞 Stern Energy ha completato con successo un altro importante progetto di revamping su un impianto fotovoltaico di Obton Italy! 🌞   🔧 Questo impianto da 1 MWp, situato nella provincia di Ancona, è stato “revampato” passando da strutture fisse a tracker monoassiali. Sono stati scelti ed utilizzati connettori MC4 Originali Stäubli che garantiscono alta qualità, affidabilità nel tempo ed efficienza. Oltre all’installazione dei tracker monoassiali abbiamo sostituito inverter, cavi moduli e ristrutturato la cabina in bassa tensione. Il sistema ora è monitorabile da remoto, migliorandone gestione, manutenzione ed in definitiva le sue performance. Il progetto ha coinvolto collaboratori locali, garantendo un impatto positivo sulla comunità.   ⚡ Questo intervento di ammodernamento tecnologico non solo aumenta l’efficienza e riduce lo spazio occupato, ma prolunga anche la vita tecnologica degli impianti, garantendo una produzione a lungo termine oltre la scadenza degli incentivi. L’aggiornamento permetterà di incrementare la producibilità di 400 ore equivalenti e di risparmiare una significativa quantità di CO2, pari a 798 tCO2/anno, contribuendo a un futuro più sostenibile.   Grazie alla sinergia tra Stern Energy, Obton Italy e Stäubli, questo progetto rappresenta un passo avanti verso l’innovazione e la sostenibilità nel settore fotovoltaico. #wemakeithappen #renewables

Stern Energy Italia and Higeco More: Together for the PPC Project! 🚀 We are excited to announce the completion of the upgrade activities required by Resolution 540/2021 on 30 photovoltaic plants. Mission accomplished! We have just successfully completed a revamping session of inverters at three photovoltaic plants in the southwest. Here are some figures to illustrate the work done: 🔧 Approximately 1000 inverters dismantled after 10 years of operation due to various defects ⚡ 350 new inverters installed 🔄 100 DC reverse boxes readapted in our workshops 🌬️ Improved ventilation on 35 PTR to reduce the temperature of sensitive components ☀️ The original panels and transformers were maintained   In total, more than 25MWp of revamping was carried out between the end of May and the beginning of September! 🌞 The result? A 100% availability rate at each plant! 🎉 A big congratulations to our technical teams for their availability, ingenuity, and quality of work. We are already ready to embark on new adventures and take on new challenges this fall 2024. Stay tuned for more updates! ~ Mission accomplie ! Nous venons tout juste de terminer avec succès une session de revamping des onduleurs sur trois centrales photovoltaïques dans le sud-ouest. Quelques chiffres pour matérialiser le travail effectué : 🔧 Environ 1000 onduleurs démontés après 10 ans d’opération en raison de divers défauts ⚡ 350 nouveaux onduleurs installés 🔄 100 reverse boxes DC réadaptées dans nos ateliers 🌬️ Amélioration de la ventilation sur 35 PTR pour réduire la température des composants sensibles ☀️ Les panneaux et transformateurs originaux ont été maintenus   Au total, plus de 25MWc de revamping réalisé entre la fin du mois de mai et le début du mois de septembre ! 🌞 Résultat ? New 0.9 MWp PV Plant: A Leap Towards Clean Energy!   We have completed the construction of a new rooftop PV plant for our client Wittur Group, a global leader in the manufacturing of components, modules and systems for the elevator industry, at their facility in the province of Parma. This project, with a total capacity of 0.9 MWp, required meticulous installation of structures, modules, inverters and cables.   The plant connects to the production facility’s electrical system at low voltage, allowing us to avoid laying new AC cables and utilize the existing infrastructure to deliver the non-directly self-consumed energy to the transformation cabin. This operational advantage prevented downtime and excavation in high-traffic and loading/unloading areas.   👉 Self-consumption: 84% of the energy produced by the PV system #wemakeithappen #renewables

The existing structure has been adapted to accommodate the new modules. The project involved local collaborators, ensuring a positive impact on the community ⚡ This technological modernization not only increases efficiency and reduces occupied space but also extends the technological life of the plants, ensuring long-term production beyond the expiration of incentives. The upgrade will save approximately 646 tCO2/year, for a total of nearly 16,000 tCO2 over the useful life of the newly installed modules ~ 🌞 Stern Energy ha completato con successo un altro importante progetto di revamping su un impianto fotovoltaico di Obton Italy! 🌞 🔧 Questo impianto da 1 MWp, situato nella provincia di Chieti, è stato aggiornato con nuovi moduli e stringbox, ora monitorabili da remoto.
