    In the rapidly evolving world of mobile gaming, UA (user acquisition) has become an indispensable yet increasingly challenging part of the business. High churn rates among gamers force developers and advertisers to continually invest resources in user acquisition. Indeed, these costs and complexities are on the rise, which is why user acquisition continues to be a sustainable model — meaning that this industry is far from saturating. The biggest stress on the mobile gaming landscape is coming from the changes in iOS that restrict user tracking. These changes have made user acquisition a more painful and expensive process. Beyond this, the fact that most ad spend resides with only a handful of top media partners showcases the inherent lopsided nature of the rest of the media mix, which poses additional threats for companies with only UA-heavy growth strategies. But with change comes evolution. The trend is fast changing to make retention and loyalty the new pillars of UA's strategy. This has to be followed by gaming companies unless they want to lag behind. The reality is, that UA, often compared to a drug, is a necessity due to high churn rates where average day-30 retention in gaming hovers around below 10%. However, games that achieve a strong product-market fit can retain users well beyond this, stretching their engagement to 90, 120, or even 180 days.     Scrambly is celebrating its 2nd anniversary today!🎉 On this day, back in 2022, we launched our very first website version. Since then, we've introduced new features, unveiled a new corporate identity, developed an Android app, and redesigned our website. Most importantly, our team has grown and evolved.
