Portofino Dry Gin took part at Whisky Live Paris 2024, the world’s largest whisky and fine spirits tasting event. This year we doubled our presence welcoming guests at Cocktail Street and Village The Avant Gardists (TAG), thanks to our French distributor LA MAISON DU WHISKY - LMDW. Attendees had the opportunity to dive deeper into the essence of Portofino Dry Gin and savor a curated selection of signature cocktails, each crafted to perfection to highlight the distinctive flavors that set our gin apart. We are proud to announce our participation in the Fine Spirits Auction at Whisky Live Paris 2024, showcasing an exclusive collection of fine spirits from leading brands with proceeds supporting vital environmental projects led by the Fondation GoodPlanet and the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco. For the occasion, we will present a unique piece of our 5 litre bottle hand-painted by the renowned British artist Jemma Powell. Known for her evocative landscapes and works inspired by nature, Jemma has drawn upon her connection to the Italian Riviera—particularly Portofino, a place of profound significance to her and her family. Powell’s exquisite design feature panoramic views of the Ligurian coast, with its iconic pastel-coloured houses and fishing villages perfectly capturing the spirit of the region. Portofino Dry Gin continues its long-term partnership as the Spirit Partner for the Longines Global Champions Tour. After the exciting stages of Miami and Saint Tropez, this summer we brought our signature experience to the London stage at the historic Royal Hospital Chelsea and the Rome stage at the iconic Circus Maximus. Our gin bar in the VIP Hospitality Lounge served our signature cocktails, offering a refreshing complement to toast to our guests' favorite rider. Global Champions

Introducing “High Seas, High Hopes” by Carolina Pimenta, the photographic work produced during the Portofino Residency 2024 in collaboration with PhMuseum: every year we host a photographer in Portofino to interpret the Italian Riviera through their poetics. Imagination, stereotypes and anticipation come together as Carolina approaches Portofino and the Italian Riviera, a place that she has seen and heard of, but never first-hand. Pimenta’s images trace a relentless movement, a rush to seek, to know, to understand, to shape an idea and then its opposite.  Carolina’s work will be previewed at PhMuseum Days International Photography Festival in Bologna from September 12th to 15th before its exhibition in Mexico City in November, supported by our Mexican distributor, COOP Spirits.

Portofino Dry Gin is taking over "La Piazza" bar at Eataly Flatiron in New York City, from now until the end of September. To celebrate this special event, Eataly has crafted an exclusive cocktail: the Berry Gin Smash—a refreshing blend of Portofino Dry Gin with green chartreuse, lemon, simple syrup, strawberry and basil. We are excited to share Portofino Dry Gin’s latest achievements, experiencing a 21% increase in global sales year-over-year, expanding into new markets, and launching the new product "Portofino Dry Gin - La Penisola." The IWSR 2023 data shows important ratings in the premium and ultra-premium segments in Italy. Collaborations with renowned brands like Fornasetti, Manebí, IWC and TAG Heuer, along with participation in high-profile events such as the Longines Global Championship Tour and the Open d’Italia Golf, have greatly enhanced brand visibility. Sustainability remains a core value, with continued support for the One Ocean Foundation and constant efforts to reduce the environmental footprint. Our team keeps growing, with Paolo Gastaldo joining as Global Brand Ambassador.

For the third year in a row, Portofino Dry Gin participated with an exclusive gin bar in the hospitality area at the Open d’Italia Golf - 81st edition, organized by the Italian Golf Federation from June 27th to 30th at the Adriatic Golf Club in Cervia.   Since its inception in 1925, the Open d’Italia has been a premier tournament and has been part of the European DP World Tour since 1972.    Congratulations to Marcel Siem for his well-deserved victory!
