Did you know that 64,3% of Europeans considers sustainability important when choosing food? That's right, sustainability in the food industry is a hot topic 🔥 And yet, there is a lack of clear information about the processes of the entire supply chain. That’s why we decided to found the Tomato SAUCE project. We want to share updated and reliable data about the tomato supply chain in Northern Italy through: ➡️ Science-backed transparent communication ➡️ Promotion of environmentally-friendly solutions and methodologies ➡️ Distribution of news and considerations that are useful to producers and consumers alike Curious to learn more about us? The discovery tour of our supply chain by French and German journalists and food bloggers ended yesterday afternoon with a visit to one of our associates' processing plants. A complete tour, 🌱from field to industry,🥫 which allowed us to show the high standards of environmental, economic and social sustainability that characterise our supply chain. —— Il viaggio dei giornalisti e food blogger francesi e tedeschi alla scoperta della nostra filiera si è concluso ieri pomeriggio con la visita allo stabilimento di trasformazione di uno dei nostri soci. This morning, French and German journalists and food bloggers visited the fields of our farmers: an opportunity to see with their own eyes how 🍅tomatoes are grown and cultivated, to listen to the farmers' stories and to taste the goodness of our tomatoes directly in the fields. —— Questa mattina i giornalisti e foodblogger francesi e tedeschi hanno visitato alcuni campi dei nostri produttori agricoli: un’occasione per guardare con i propri occhi come vengono coltivati e raccolti i 🍅pomodori nel nord Italia, ascoltare il racconto degli agricoltori e assaggiare la bontà del nostro "oro rosso" direttamente sul campo.
