📢 Mine Vaganti NGO representatives will the LTTA of Media Education and News Literacy to yoUth against FAkenews recepTion and implicatiOn - FATOS2U - a KA2 Youth mobility project funded by the Erasmus Plus programme. 🌍 The event will start on 21.10.2024 in Braga, Portugal and will last until 23.10.2024. The entire course will involve people from Portugal, Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Germany, and Italy. The following topics will be addressed: 1) Creating new, innovative or joint curricula or courses 2) Media literacy and tackling disinformation 3) Quality and innovation of youth work. FATOS2U aims to promote critical thinking enhancement and media & news literacy among young persons - youth aged 18-25 - who are brought up and belong to this generation and era of digital and technological boom to strengthen democracy and fight manipulation, propaganda and fake news. Great news! The CIRC Training Course in Slovakia is happening on 15-17 October 2024! As part of the “CIRcular City through educational circular economy methods for social enterprises (CIRC)” Erasmus KA2 Adult Innovation project, this mobility will focus on empowering adult educators by improving their skills in the circular economy and entrepreneurship. The training will equip educators to better support adults at risk of exclusion, providing them with the tools for personal and professional growth. Over three days, educators will engage in interactive sessions, learning how to confidently transfer these skills to adults in their communities. Why is this important? Adult educators play an important role in bridging gaps for marginalised communities by offering high-quality education and opportunities for social and professional inclusion. We made a difference with sports! "Cultural Heritage through Sport for Integrity and Inclusion" [Heritage & Sport] is an Erasmus collaborative partnership in sport project aims to raise physical activity levels and encourage inclusivity in sports for children with disabilities. We carried out many activities consisting of online and offline trainings, sports events, and dissemination events within the scope of the Heritage and Sport project. We organized inclusive sports activities for children by holding workshops with trainers and volunteers. In addition, we successfully completed the dissemination activity of our project with baskin matches that also included individuals with disabilities. 🎓 The project “Quality of Interaction of the Virtual Auditorium” a Partnership for Innovation – Forward Looking Project funded by the Erasmus Plus programme that focuses on enhancing educational technologies and fostering collaboration between EdTech and the public education sector. 🌍 Virtual Auditorium involves partners from 7 different European countries, including France, Germany, and Greece. 📑 In the last week, partners have finalized the research phase and are moving towards implementation. We are excited to share that: 🔍 Literature Review: We explored academic studies to identify key factors influencing interaction quality. 💡 Expert Consultations: Insights from educators and edtech entrepreneurs enriched our approach. 📈 Use Case Analysis: Early-stage implementations validated our framework. 🗣️ Student Surveys: Feedback from students has guided our understanding of user experiences. 📅 On June 13th-14th, we attended the Second Project Meeting in Thessaloniki, hosted by the International Hellenic University. 📢Mine Vaganti NGO attended the 2nd Transnational Project Meeting of the project Media Education and News Literacy to yoUth against FAke news recepTion and implicatiOnS – FATOS2U - a Key Action 2 project funded by the Erasmus Plus programme. 📚During the meeting partners presented the story board of the results developed so far, and a fruitful discussion developed on the next steps for the development of the project results and future meetings. 📍The event took place on 24th and 25th of July in Athens,Greece. In the framework of the “FATOS2U” project, representatives from the 5 partners’ countries, including Italy,Romania,Germany,Portugal and Greece discussed regarding the work that has been done and the next steps of the implementation.
