Mediate Srl

Over the past few months, I had the opportunity to work at the Advanced Robotics and Human-Centred Technologies - Creo Lab, contributing to the validation of an innovative monitoring system for tracking elderly patients' movement during home-based rehabilitation activities. This project, part of the European initiative Pharaon, involved collaboration with Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico and Mediate Srl. During this experience, I had the chance to engage with advanced technologies, including an optoelectronic monitoring system, and to present our work with a poster at the I-RIM Istituto di Robotica e Macchine Intelligenti conference held in Rome from October 25th to 27th. I would like to extend my thanks to Prof. Loredana Zollo and Prof. Nevio Luigi Tagliamonte for giving me this opportunity and for welcoming me into the lab environment and to work with such passionate researchers like Cristiana Rondoni, Francesco Scotto di Luzio, Marcello Chiurazzi and Emiliano Cutolo.

Our co-founder and advisor, #GastoneCiuti, had the privilege of co-organizing the forum on "Industrial Opportunities and Socio-Economic Impact of Medical Robotics" at #IROS2024 👏 It was a fantastic opportunity to highlight the vital importance of bridging research and industry to create tangible socio-economic benefits and deliver a real impact on our society!
