And that's a wrap on the Global Energy Transition Congress and Exhibition (GET) in Milan! We were thrilled to have participated alongside MAIRE, NEXTCHEM and TECNIMONT. The event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry leaders, showcase our innovations, and discuss the future of sustainable energy. #WeDeliverEnergyTransition

Our young #KT construction and subcontracting engineers visited the Ravenna yard, where complex modules for projects in Italy and Africa are being completed. This visit was a key part of our #learningprogram, designed to foster professional growth and career aspirations. During the visit, the engineers learned about construction engineering, site work organization, project management, and the design, fabrication, installation, and testing of complex modules. A presentation by Site Manager Sandro Mosca and his team provided insights into technical specifications, quality standards, safety procedures, and construction challenges. This experience offered our young engineers invaluable practical knowledge and expanded their professional networks. It also highlighted KT’s commitment to a culture of collaboration and continuous learning! We are proud to announce that KT - Kinetics Technology (Integrated E&C Solutions), also leveraging the technological know-how of NEXTCHEM (Sustainable Technology Solutions), has been awarded by HOLBORN Europa Raffinerie GmbH (HOLBORN) an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) project to develop a Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) complex inside the existing HOLBORN’s refinery in Hamburg, Germany. Once completed, the plant will produce approximately 220,000 tons per year of high-quality renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) using waste and residues feedstocks, biomasses, and the residues of the agribusiness industry, as well as low carbon hydrogen. At the Chemistry Polish Congress in Warsaw, where MAIRE was Main Partner, our colleague Paolo Mazzara joined the panel: Strategically About Chemistry – How to Conduct Business Today to Meet the Needs of Tomorrow? It has been 2 full days with our colleagues from TECNIMONT, NEXTCHEM, Conser S.p.A., MyRechemical with the chance to meet other key industry players, discuss the latest industry innovative trends on the way energy transition journey and powering up the presence of MAIRE group in Poland.

Recently MAIRE and KT - Kinetics Technology Top Management visited the project site in Chile where #KT and TECNIMONT Chile are implementing a unit of Sour Water Stripper and a unit of Wet Sulphuric Acid. Riccardo Guglielmetti, Rolandelli Enrico and franco broggi, together with Piero Antonio Sartore, met the Site Team hearing from them their experiences and challenges in the project and sharing their views on #Energy Transition, #Sustainability and #Diversity & Inclusion, highlighting the actions taken and planned in the future. Our delegation also visited the site and met ENAP Top Management. They praised the work done so far, discussing the successful completion of the project, and sharing a common view Health and Safety and Environmental topics. We would like to thank all people involved in this project for their commitment, reliability and enthusiasm.

#KT joined #PRC EUROPE 2024, the downstream industry congress where players meet to define strategies and technological perspectives to Lead Downstream Transformation. Our colleague Luca Modestini, Construction Home Office Head of Department, held an interesting speech about digital solutions to enhance safety, security and productivity in the Digital Turnaround Workshop. It has been two full days with our colleagues from TECNIMONT and MyRechemical with the chance to meet other key players of the oil&gas market and discuss about the latest industry innovative trends on the way of digital innovation. We announce that as KT - Kinetics Technology we have signed a binding agreement to acquire 100% of APS Evolution S.r.l, parent company controlling APS Designing Energy S.r.l. and KTI Poland S.A. APS Evolution is the parent company of the two operating subsidiaries which can boast a historical track-record in the conversion of natural resources, petrochemical (with a specific focus on innovative rubbers), green process and energy projects worldwide. Through this acquisition, MAIRE will leverage on an additional workforce of about 280 professionals to expand its project management and engineering capacity in the process, automation, mechanical, piping, electrical and civil fields.   Read more here  👉 https://lnkd.in/ezKj3_xb

Long-standing and historical collaboration with Sapienza Università di Roma continues with a fruitful exchange between the academic and industrial world! 🤝 In a very short time, we were back to Sapienza for a class on the Design of Industrial and Steam Reforming Furnaces, given by Onorio Iannucci, Hydrogen & Syngas Technology Senior Process Engineer and Paolo Sarli, Fired Heaters Process Engineer, supported by Francesco Magli, Lara Volpe, Furnaces Thermal Engineer, and Laura Marinelli, Hydrogen & Syngas Technology Group Leader.
