Sughd Region Tourism Master Plan - A journey with Keios Our recent two weeks mission in Tajikistan was a successful adventure of exploration, in depth assessment and local communities collaboration. Regional planning in the Maldives Keios, in association with Hidria (Spain) and CDE (Maldives), has been invited by the Maldives Urban Development and Resilience Project, funded by the World Bank, to submit a proposal for the consultancy services to develop the regional development plans for the Maldives. Building Collaborative Bridges in Tajikistan Keios is thrilled to be part of the development of the Tourism Master Plan for the Panjakent and Fann Mountains areas, along with the Khujand area in Tajikistan. This initiative, guided by the Committee for Tourism Development (CTD) and supported by the Asian Development Bank, is set to make a significant impact. Our recent awareness workshops in Tajikistan played a vital role in bringing together public and private sector stakeholders. The primary goal was to ensure everyone's active participation and collaboration in our assignment. The first workshop took place in Dushanbe on December 11th, under the chairmanship of Mr. Muminzod Kamoliddin, Chairman of CTD. This event saw the participation of Mr. Raffaele Gorjux, Director of Keios, and Mr. Peter Nizette, Keios Team Leader, along with their teams. Another noteworthy workshop was hosted in Khujand on December 13th. This session, chaired by Mr. Anvar Jakubi, Deputy Chairman of the Sughd Region, and led by Mr. Peter Nizette, Keios Team Leader, continued our mission of fostering awareness, building crucial connections, and securing future collaborations for this consultancy. Exploring New Avenues for The Gambia's Tourism Keios is excited to announce its collaboration with The Gambia's Ministry of Tourism and Culture, funded by the World Bank, on the "Demand and Destination Site Evaluation & Assessment of Potential Tourism Sites" project. On January 3rd, we initiated this important project with a kickoff meeting. Mr. Momodou Ceesay, Project Director from the client's side, chaired the meeting, along with Mr. Raffaele Gorjux, Director of Keios, and Dr. Simon Woodward, Keios Team Leader, accompanied by our dedicated teams. Our task is to conduct a thorough assessment of the demand and potential of various tourism sites and areas in The Gambia. This initiative aims to strengthen the country's tourism offerings and overall image. We're working on a reliable scoring system to prioritize 10 tourism sites out of a list of 51.
