Saturn is a novel, investigational TMVR system with 29 French Valve Delivery System and 2 valve sizes (28 and 31mm) designed to anchor through a subannular ring at the base of the left ventricle to provide mechanical continuity between bioprosthesis and annular segments. The Saturn device’s low profile and unique anchoring design aims to minimize screen-outs due to unsupported annulus size/shape and left ventricle size, and to minimize the risks of valve migration, paravalvular leaks, LVOT obstruction and Systolic Anterior Motion.
