#StudyUpdate ADEQUATE study results are in! Rapid diagnostic tests can reduce antibiotic prescriptions in children hospitalised with acute lower respiratory tract infections. Although this doesn't affect the length of hospital stay, this is invaluable knowledge that could help us in our fight against antimicrobial resistance. 🦠 ADEQUATE was the paediatric arm of the VALUE-Dx project which focused on combating antibiotic resistance by improving how antibiotics are used in healthcare. 🏥 Read more about Value-Dx here ➡️ https://bit.ly/4eglRge #AntimircrobialResistance #AMR #Children #RespiratoryInfections #LRTI
