One of the strengths of our company is that we work closely with our customers to achieve the best possible solutions together. We also adopt these best practices in the design of sacks for the construction industry, which must comply with well-defined technical specifications - and under certain binding conditions - depending on the material they contain. Here at Fiorini, we join forces with our customer to assess both the number of layers and the weight of the paper, which vary within the range based on the physical and mechanical characteristics that the sack requires: gloss, rigidity and, of course, greater or lesser strength. --- Uno dei plus della nostra azienda è lavorare a stretto contatto con i propri clienti per giungere sinergicamente alle migliori soluzioni possibili. Adottiamo queste best practices anche nella progettazione dei sacchi per il settore edilizio, che devono rispettare specifiche tecniche ben definite - e in talune condizioni vincolanti - a seconda del materiale che si prestano a trasportare. In Fiorini si procede a valutare insieme al committente sia il numero di strati sia la grammatura della carta, che variano all’interno del range basato sulle caratteristiche fisiche e meccaniche che il sacco deve possedere: la brillantezza, la rigidità e, naturalmente, una maggiore o minore resistenza.

World Food Safety Day, commissioned by WHO, FAO and CODEX Alimentarius, is celebrated every 7th June. Indeed, since 2019, the purpose of this day is to raise awareness among institutions, companies and individuals as to the need for health safety of all kinds of foods to protect public health. Here at Fiorini, we have always been concerned about this issue, aware of the vital importance for instance of well-designed packaging which protects products, from the source location where they are packaged all the way to the end consumer’s table, respecting a sustainable agri-food supply chain and excellence Made in Italy. --- Ogni 7 giugno si celebra la “Giornata mondiale della sicurezza alimentare”, voluta da OMS, FAO e CODEX Alimentarius. Fin dal 2019, infatti, lo scopo di questa ricorrenza è accrescere la consapevolezza di enti, aziende e singoli individui circa la necessità della sicurezza sanitaria degli alimenti di ogni genere per tutelare la salute pubblica. It utilises a transparent plastic film for the window comprising less than 5% of the sack’s composition. The sack qualifies as paper #monomaterial and is recyclable with #paper. The window can also be realised with a compostable film and in different shapes. As the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) announced earlier this year, 2024 is marked by a series of pro-environmental events ranging from biodiversity to global sustainability. And on days like this that celebrate biodiversity, it's worth remembering that increased waste recycling, reducing the use of non-biodegradable materials and adopting eco-friendly packaging are just some of the business practices we have implemented at Fiorini to honour biodiversity and preserve it as an essential asset for the planet. — Come ha annunciato a inizio anno l’UNEP (Programma delle Nazioni Unite per l’ambiente) il 2024 è scandito da una serie di eventi a favore dell’ambiente che vanno dalla biodiversità fino alla sostenibilità globale.
