The Ferrero Group closed the financial year ended August 31, 2021 with a consolidated turnover of 12.7 billion Euro, an increase of 3.4% compared to the previous year’s turnover of 12.3 billion Euro. We now have 107 companies and 32 manufacturing plants worldwide, selling directly and via distributors in over 170 countries. The headcount as of August 31, 2021 amounted to 38,767 employees, compared to 37,122 as of August 31, 2020.
Expanding our Portfolio
Alongside organic growth, our global presence is constantly expanding as we enter new product categories and expand our footprint across Europe and North America through strategic acquisitions. Since 2015, we have acquired several brands and businesses, including Fannie May, the confectionary division of Nestlé, and Eat Natural, expanding our footprint also into the healthy snack segment. We are constantly growing our portfolio of love brands capitalising on exciting growth opportunities.
