Dog Photo Italy vola a Riga!!! Grazie di aver sostenuto il nostro progetto!!
Last week, we traveled to Riga, Latvia to co-host the final Pitch Event of the European Horizon 2020 IN-HABIT program. A very special project that fosters Inclusive Health and Wellbeing in four European cities by leveraging human-animal relationships, nature, culture and food to make urban spaces more inclusive and innovative 🌟🚀 We’re so proud of the four entrepreneurs who bravely pitched their incredible business ideas after completing the incubation program: 1️⃣ From Riga, Latvia: Julia P., co-founder with Eugene Haustov of TE-D (Tara Energy Drink), a convenient, tasty, and healthy energy drink. Each box contains a high-quality thermo mug, a selection of unique infusion tablets, and 100% natural honey. 2️⃣ From Cordoba, Spain: Cristina Rentería Garita, founder of Listen&Speak, empowering nursery school teachers with functional English skills to prepare children for the bilingual challenge. 3️⃣ From Lucca, Italy: Marina Barbati, co-founder with Alessio Guazzini of DOG PHOTO ITALY, the first Italian network dedicated to dog photography. Through photography, they celebrate the unique and special relationship between dogs and owners. 4️⃣ From Nitra, Slovakia: Lucia Jasenovská, founder of el VERDE, a vertical farm initiative bringing sustainable, year-round healthy produce to cities, aiming to create greener food systems and healthier communities. Truth is, behind a great event, there’s always an amazing team. That’s why we’d like to extend: 🔹 A big shout out to our incredible Incubation Managers – Anete G., Vanesa Kovacova, Bianca Breveglieri, and Paola Rosenberg – for guiding the entrepreneurs on this journey and organizing this event. 🔹 A special thanks to the mentors of our TOP 4 entrepreneurs , Ingus Beks, Dmitrijs Glinbergs, Lauris Rutkis, Maroš Stanislav, MBA, Andrea Riccardo Riberti and Pablo Gallardo, for sharing their expertise and accompanying them on this incredible journey. 🔹 A heartfelt thank you to our Latvian partners - Āgenskalns market (Una Meiberga), Baltic Studies Centre (Emīls Ķīlis), Riga Planning Region (Rudolfs Cimdinsņš) for hosting us and co-creating the event. 🔹 AND a very special gratitude goes to our special guests for your valuable feedback and questions: Ariana Apine | Zanda Kristovica | Jānis Svemps | Jūlija Baumane | Jānis Lielpēteris | Marina Petrakova | Liene Reine-Miteva | Marta Rautenschild | Inga Surgunte
