Choose the Right Protection and Insulation for Your Bifacial PV. In the PV module market, there are two main alternatives to choose from: glass-glass modules and glass-backsheet modules. Selecting the right protection for your Bifacial PV is crucial. Here’s why glass-backsheet modules stand out as the superior choice compared to glass-glass modules: ・ Tempered Glass (≥ 3.2 mm):  glass-backsheet modules use thicker tempered glass, offering more strength and durability compared to the thinner non tempered glass ( ≤ 2.0mm) used in glass-glass modules. ・50% Higher Impact Resistance:  glass-backsheet modules offer superior protection against hail. This increased durability minimizes the risk of damage, ensuring longer module lifespan and reducing maintenance costs. ・Lower Insurance Costs: the increased durability of glass-backsheet modules leads to reduced insurance premiums when compared to glass-glass modules, as they are less prone to damage and require fewer repairs or replacements.   ・40% Lower Bill of Material Cost:  the materials used to make the backsheet in glass-backsheet modules are 40% less expensive than the materials used in glass-glass modules.   ・Reduced Weight by 20%:  lighter weight makes glass-backsheet modules easier to handle and transport, reducing management costs. ・Better Handling and Productivity:  the lighter weight and improved handling of glass-backsheet modules enhance productivity during both installation and maintenance. ・Facilitated Installation:  the enhanced maneuverability of glass-backsheet modules makes the installation process easier and faster. This leads to reduced labor time and effort, ultimately speeding up the entire installation procedure. Don't compromise on the quality and longevity of your solar panels. Choose glass-backsheet modules for a safe and lasting investment! To have more info please contact Alessandro Anderlini: [email protected] #Coveme #CovemeNews

Coveme supports the innovation of the UNIPG Racing Team   We are proud to announce our collaboration with the talented UniPG Racing Team - Formula SAE (University of Perugia, Italy), who has developed an extraordinary racing car to participate in the Formula SAE Italy!   Coveme provided high-quality electrical insulating materials that the students used inside the vehicle, helping to improve performance and safety. In fact, Coveme material will be used to build a fire wall which will protect the driver from any fire that may arise in the vehicle from the engine compartment during the use phase. We are excited to support young talent and see how our solutions can make a difference in such an ambitious project.   A big round of applause to the UniPG Racing Team for their extraordinary work. It is an honour to be part of this adventure and see the exceptional results that can be achieved thanks to commitment, creativity and a strong team spirit.   The next appointment is at the race Formula SAE Italy in Varano de' Melegari, Parma, from 4-8 September! Winning collaboration between Coveme and Solis UTCN.   Solis UTCN the first Romanian solar vehicle team, participated in Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia. The Solis UTCN team managed to cover 1,300 km using solar energy alone, showcasing their innovation and the effectiveness of their solar vehicle, which utilizes photovoltaic panels protected by Coveme materials. Thanks to the use of our innovative Backsheets and Frontsheets for PV modules, the solar vehicle had excellent performance, ensuring stability and precision, and maximizing the energy efficiency of the vehicle. In this edition of the competition, the solar vehicle, SolisEV3, passed the static scrutineering and completed significant portions of the race. Despite not winning, their performance marked a significant achievement as it was their first participation, and they demonstrated considerable progress and potential in solar vehicle technology. Well done Solis, the Coveme team is ready to face the next challenge together with you!   For more information about Coveme Backsheets and Frontsheets:  https://lnkd.in/eJcsRXrt For more information about Solis team activities: https://lnkd.in/gfyNDvRc #Coveme #CovemeNews #SolisUTCN

Coveme Group calculated its Carbon Footprint (CFP) by measuring the greenhouse gas emissions (CO2) generated by the company through a shared international standard, the GHG Protocol. The GHG Protocol, born in 1997, provides a methodological guide for accounting and reporting of greenhouse gas (CO2) emissions to measure emissions in 3 different scopes or areas: -Scope 1: includes all the company's direct emissions -Scope 2: includes indirect emissions associated with the purchase of electricity -Scope 3: includes all indirect emissions that occur along the company's value chain, both upstream and downstream of the organization. From the measurement of emissions (CO2) of the Coveme group, according to the GHG Protocol, it emerged that in 2023 the emissions deriving from scopes 1 and 2 represent 11%, while those deriving from scope 3 represent 89% of the total. Within scope 3 the most significant item concerns the purchase of raw material, i.e. polyester film. Coveme, which already offers a range of recycled PET (rPET), will focus on this topic by pushing the offer of eco-sustainable materials. Thanks to a detailed mapping and measurement of the direct and indirect sources of emissions generated, Coveme can now implement a medium and long-term Strategic Sustainability Plan by identifying the actions to be taken in the coming years and in the various company areas.   To know more visit: https://lnkd.in/eeqZHH7R For more info contact :  [email protected] #Coveme #CovemeNews #Sustainability
