This Fall our sites have continued to be active within their communities. Our High Point, NC site partnered with BackPack Beginnings to gather donations for their Family Market providing resources to children and families in their community. The Snapdragon Chemistry team participated in the Cambridge Science Festival with their "Glowing with the Flow" demonstrations. The Agawam, MA site partnered with the Salvation Army collecting boxes full of cold weather gear for children and adults. In Durham, NC teams created 140 blankets for Fleece & Thank You to be distributed to multiple children's hospitals. In addition, our sites in North Carolina are working together for a Hurricane Helene Donation Drive collecting coats, scarves, hats, gloves, and blankets to deliver to our neighbors in Western North Carolina.

Our Scientific Experts took time away from the lab to attend events and share what they have been working on. We presented at #CMF2024, #PDAMicro, Shimadzu Pharma Summit, and the Q1 Scientific Stability Studies Conference. Last month, we brought together 70 of our experts from across Cambrex's global sites at our inaugural Cambrex Science Day, promoting collaborative learning and scientific excellence. Additionally, Analytical Scientists from Durham, NC traveled to our Charles City, IA site to discuss their cross-site projects. We also exhibited at #NLSDays, #CPHIMilan, and the #NESACS Process Chemistry Symposium. Looking forward to the remainder of the year!

As part of our video series, “A Different Brand of Experts,” we invite you to meet Jonas Nilsson, Ph.D. and Principal Scientist in Karlskoga, Sweden. Jonas is a career chemist who has been at Cambrex for nearly 20 years. He specializes in process development and optimization for new clients beginning the tech transfer of phase II or early phase III assets. We asked Jonas to describe how his team approaches technology transfers, and he shared, "Every project has its core team with an engineer, analytical chemist, project manager, chemist, and QA representative. That team stays together right through the transfer process from R&D to production, and if applicable, through validation and commercialization. Every chemist takes pride in making the best effort to meet and exceed customer expectations to generate add-on value.” Read his full interview here: https://lnkd.in/eXPgr7PR
