🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 We are thrilled to announce that Prexable has applied to the prestigious Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC)! Our application will be reviewed by a global panel of judges, and we eagerly await the selection of the top 250 startups to advance to the next round. As an EWC participant, we have access to EWC Accelerates, a platform filled with invaluable resources like articles, videos, and templates to help us elevate our startup. The top 250 startups, known as the ‘EWC 250,’ will join a virtual bootcamp offering free training and mentorship in July or August 2024. From there, the top 100 will move on to the EWC Global Finals in Riyadh in November 2024. Last week, during a group meeting, we went through a few tasks like: 💡 Brainstorming on how to communicate with our pilot companies for gathering required data, 💡Planning for sessions with each of out pilot companies, 💡 Making an overall estimate of time and budget for next phase. The meeting proved to be productive, yielding numerous ideas that provide insight into our future course of action. #prexable

Today we would like to share more about "Edge-based video analytics" 📹 Edge-based video analytics refers to the process of analyzing video content directly at the edge of the network, near the video capture devices, rather than transmitting the data to a centralized or cloud-based system for analysis. The benefits of edge-based video analytics include 🔵 faster response times, 🔵 enhanced system optimization through dynamic resource allocation, 🔵 and improved security and privacy. Traditional cloud computing struggles with high bandwidth requirements for video transmission, a limitation mitigated by edge computing, which processes data closer to its source. Edge servers, positioned between end devices and the cloud, offer scalable resource provisioning for better performance and can serve as secure storage solutions, enhancing privacy. This makes edge-based video analytics an effective framework for privacy-sensitive applications.
