Yes, it's a parody of The Cration of Adam. I tried to make a parody of a style of blue tile decoration from Portuguese and Brazilian churches that often features versions of famous religious paintings. Of course, in this case is used to illustrate the character's fantasy.

I'm glad you got that one because I wasn't sure if the gesture would be recognized. My first version had lots of arrows all over the place and floating cross icons, but then I thought it was visually overcomplicated.

Actually, your character Brina has great erotic potential, but you said yourself that you have a psychological problem with that.... Because you thought the result was "weird" when you tried to do it .
I think it's a shame because you shouldn't have to work a lot to make it something sweetly erotic... Not something frankly porn, but something sweetly naughty.

Well, my main problem with drawing erotic stuff is I'm not good at it. Basically, it comes out weird because I don't have the artistic skill to make it look good. It always looks to me like I missed the mark. I have drawn cartoon sex for laughs, but I don't expect it to titillate anyone.

However, I had an interesting experience. A friend once told me long before he met me when he was younger he found one of my characters totally hot. But then again, he was at the age you can find an undressed mannequin hot ( ᐢ (oo) ᐢ )

Well, actually, I think I have (more or less) the same kind of problem because my graphic style is not very realistic...
But you know that many artists do erotic stuff with a humorous graphic style (Dutch, Drakefenwick, Tegerio...).
It may be less complicated than you think : first try to create a gag, and tries to dress it in an erotic disguise
If you want (and If you agree) I can try the experiment with one or two of your female characters... Just tell me which character(s) you want...

To be honest, I'm afraid to let other artists draw my characters because it usually looks so much better than my own version that it kills my will to draw them. ( ᗒ (oo) ᗕ )

Your work is excellent!
Personally, I like cartoony characters more than realistic ones. I grew up with traditional animations and today's 3D stuff looks lifeless to me. I'm not denying the work of digital artists, I know there is a lot of talent and effort involved. I just have a personal preference for the hand-drawn stuff.

<< And back: Wonderful start to the comic. I am reminded of a movie I watched years ago in University about a Muslim man struggling with his obsession of a woman he kept daydreaming about. He was relatively well off with a fairly high managerial position in a large corporation. His Imam was trying to help, even offering him the right to have a second wife, but he didn't want 'a second wife'. He couldn't shake this fictitious temptress, and she was all he wanted. He started seeing her in the faces of people in the street, even chasing after a woman he thought was her. I think he used business assets to do an ad shoot to try finding a model who looked like her. Unfortunately, like many religious morality tales, since he couldn't give up his sinning he ends up dying in sin and any of his family who hadn't already distanced themselves is ruined by the disgrace.

That sounds like a Mexican movie ( ᐢ (oo) ᐢ )

I saw a movie once (I can't remember the nationality now) where a guy is married to a girl and after the wedding, they are supposed to go into the house to have sex while both families wait outside. After "consummation" the bed sheets are supposed to be taken outside and there has to be blood on them to prove he had taken her virginity. The guy was young and shy and didn't even know much about sex, so the girl gives herself a nosebleed. The bloody sheet is carried out and passed around while everyone cheered and applauded.

Later in the movie, it's somehow discovered they had cheated on the tradition, so the marriage is annulated and she is given as wife to a different guy. The rest of the movie is about the protagonist obsessed with revenge and daydreaming about torturing and killing her new husband, but eventually, things turn in a way he embraces forgiveness.

I found the "blood" custom revolting, but I guess those people would think the same of my own practices ( ಠಿ (oo) ಠ )
