Well, looks like Aleissa's gone and done it; after years of fighting an alien shapeshifting species known as The Many, she got herself infected by one of their leading organisms; assimilated, as it is.
Little did both know, though, that its comprehension of sentience would be so weak that she managed to utterly crush its willpower and take control for herself.
