Today, I had the opportunity to teach a session on *Non-Verbal Communication Skills* to 187 students from classes 6 and 8 at Shreeji Kaila Vidyalaya School, Narol, under the fellowship program initiative by Social Eye Foundation Eye Foundation. We explored how body language, eye contact, facial expressions, and gestures play a crucial role in expressing opinions without words. Students learned how body language can show agreement, why eye contact is essential in conversations, how facial expressions convey emotions, and how posture influences discussions. World Heart Day* Celebration at *Shreeji Kaila Vidyalaya, Narol* with Classes 3 and 5 (100 students) On *World Heart Day*, we raised awareness about the importance of maintaining heart health through engaging and informative sessions. The students learned about the *Cardiovascular System* and how a *Heart-Healthy Diet* and regular *Physical Activity* are essential for keeping their hearts strong. We discussed the harmful effects of *Smoking and Pollution* on heart health, as well as the impact of *Stress*. The students also learned to recognize the *Signs of a Healthy vs. Unhealthy Heart*, the role of *Water in Heart Health*, and explored *Global Statistics on Heart Disease*. To solidify their learning, the students created vibrant *World Heart Day craft posters* to promote heart health awareness. 📚 *Study Skills Workshop* 📚 I had the opportunity to teach an interactive session on effective study skills to 70 students of Class 10 at Shreeji Kaila Vidyalaya School, Narol. We covered key topics such as effective summarization techniques, incorporating key terms and definitions, mind mapping, and creating flashcards tailored to different learning styles. Students learned to use color coding, organize study materials by subject, and utilize online resources. Peer review sessions and maintaining a study journal were also emphasized to foster collaborative and organized study habits. A Heartwarming Day with the Seniors of Saath Foundation Our recent visit to the Saath Foundation in Nagpur, home to 45 senior citizens, was truly a touching experience. Spending time with the elderly, sharing stories, and seeing their smiles reminded us how valuable and cherished these moments are. What We Shared: Individual kits, kitchen rations, fun games, and a shared lunch with the residents. Why It Matters: These wonderful souls may have been rejected by their families, but they are certainly not forgotten by ours. Today, in celebration of the International Day of Peace, I conducted a session with students from classes 6 to 8 at Shakti Vidya Vihar School, Isanpur. The focus was on spreading the message of peace, preventing conflicts, and promoting harmony.
